2005-02-21 [RabidSphinx]: i told you the reason, to get rid of saddam because he was killing MILLIONS of people...you remember, maybe you're too young, when he gassed all those people, killing THOUSANDS of men woman and children, just to prove that he could? we went in there for the reason of getting rid of the threat. he *said* he had weapons of mass distruction that he was willing to use...as presidant, bush had to make the HARD dissision to go in there...yes, we lost a thousand soldiers....that is a SMALL amount comparied to every other war/ conflict we have been in...and those soldiers all CHOOSE to be there...there was no draft, bush is against the draft...theose men and woman choose to serve this country +Bush

2005-02-21 [RabidSphinx]: Yup, that is what happened...and why didn't we clear out? because we invaded...we can't (according to UN and US law) go in somewhere, take out a dictator, destroy cities with our fighting, and not stick around to help fix things...we were for helping them get a new leader or government, which we are doing, and we are responsible for helping them rebuild their cities, which we are doing...just because our initial objective is completed, doesn't mean we can just leave and say, sorry we tore apart your country and left you with no government, and leave...we *had* to help them, thus why we stuck around...

2005-02-21 [RabidSphinx]: he started off as our leader after a MAJOR crisis(9-11)...our country was attacked by an outside force for the first time on our soil since the revolutionary war! he wasn't even inaugurated yet and the country was looking to him for split second decisions and guidance...he started off strong, and has stayed strong...he has faced things NO OTHER president has EVER faced before...he had no one to look to but his aids and himself...

2005-02-21 [Kagomeyasha]: Yes he did help us alopt during 9-11 and i am greatful for that, but we need something more then what he is giving us. We need his attention not the other countries. I know that they may be fighting with us, but we atre spencing so much on money there that we are losing money here.

2005-02-21 [RabidSphinx]: we have the responcibility as a supper power to help lesser countries, and Iraq was *our* problem to fix, not the UN's or anyone elses because we created the problem with Saddam in the first place over 20 years ago...yes, war/ conflict *always* puts us in debt, but we were already in debt,...try a few trillion...that didn't change or really get that much worse with bush in "power"...he is helping us, he is *trying* to change to Social Security issue, but the democrats are fighting him on it, and he is direction money towards schools...but he is a republican, and we belive in a hands off governmet...we don't support wellfare...because we don't agree in the idea that hard working amaricans...

People will not feel the same any longer for such tradgities that have happend. I know that we have gotten over them in the past, but this one is so terrible, so many people have been dieing the past 4 years, it's insane.
