since I want to keep my mood the way it is...
We have a kid comming over today and he's gunna stay for the weekend. Wont be on that much I dont think. and on sunbday I wont be here cus I gotta go fishing at 4 in the morning

Scrapes & bruises were kissed & made better.
It was a big deal to finally be tall enough to ride the 'big people' rides at the fair.
When playing Nintendo was the hardest thing ever.
When Ninja Turtles ruled the world.
When Lisa Frank was the raddest thing ever.
When a candy bar at the grocery store was the highlight of your day.
When coupons collected all year could get you a prize in your class auction.
When the only thing you cried over was your mom being late to pick you up.
When stress was addition and subtraction.
When friendships were as complicated as who's house to sleep over.
When shaving cream was just meant for play.
When a first kiss only lead to cooties.

Two. Months
A religion teacher assigned her class an essay on what makes a good Christian. One student wrote about praying nightly, say no to abortion, banning gay marriage, and donating money. The other student wrote about talking to God and allowing people to enjoy their lives, and supporting gay marriage.
The day the teacher was to hand the papers back, she called up the second student and told him she would pray for him when he went to hell. The student asked why would he be going to hell, and why he got an F on his paper. The teacher told him that Catholisim is against gay marriage. The student looked at her for a minute, then said aloud, "I'm gay." The teacher kicked him out of class as if he had said fuck or worshipped Satan.
A girl in the back of class who had a boyfriend and was obviously straight got up and left too.

Oh my god.. I just got the book that my poem is published in! My poem's on the first page!!! The book is called Timeless Voices! Do a Google on it see if you get anything!! *hugs the book*
Click to make it bigger. This is my baby, Sadie! I've had her since I was five. She's nine now and is a cancer surviver. She has cancer in her right paw, chest, neck, and we think, brain. She's on medication that's helping her though and I'm glad she's doing alright.
