Well, baby is due in 2 days *crosses fingers* so i have been tryin to get myself prepared. Not that anything actually needs done, i mean, ive been ready for months lol but all the bags, car seat and anything else i need is ready and waiting in the car to just go go go :D the waiting is the worst.
Thought we had a bit of action last night as i was having contractions but they stopped again >.< it's so frustrating lol but fingers crossed something happens in the next few days (...or hours) :)
James is away on an exercise with the Royal Irish today for the weekend, so knowing my luck it'll be all systems GO and we wont be able to contact him haha :D
and on a last note; i've been treating myself to some new beauty treats, well cause, I deserve them and nothing perks me up than being spoilt haha and no one wants to look back at ugly "after birth" pictures...(vain but i couldnt care less!!) So, after 8months of boring boring brown hair, which was lush but i was bored, i've changed my hair colour to a not so very adventurous "black cherry" which to me looks like a reddy brown (kinda ginger like!!) and thanks to my gorgeous lil sister Charlene it's been cut and styled :) also, got a pedi and a mani...don't want to see manky toes in labour...not that that's what i'll be worried about but it felt good to be spoilt haha and last but not least, got my eyebrows done, this was more out of necessity than anything else, hate plucking and they were gettin WILD :L lol
Well, off again to bounce on my exercise ball and drink raspberry tea....pass the pineapples!! It's OPERATION SOFTEN CERVIX TIMEEEE!!!!
Seen the midwife today. Baby looks healthy and has moved lower into the pelvis. And I'm now 3cm dilated, got a cervix sweep and I'm booked into the hospital on the 8th May if I don't go into labour by myself but the midwife reckons I will soon :D So excited, been bouncing on the exercise ball all day :D
my god, how long does it take for a baby to dilate more than 2cm...she is too comfy where she is, she needs to move down the pelvis more...and really, how does it take something so little to travel such a short distance D; i was told she could hold in there for another week or 2... not loving life lol
waiting for 4cm and finally being in established labour :/
I might open a shop called Pi. I don't know what it would sell but it would be open 22/7... ;D
so, today i was in the hospital at the Antrim Hospital Fetal assessment unit.
Been havin little contractions since 8am, nothing serious but i am 2cm dilated and have bulging membranes :D
I was told i could go anytime between now and next week...literal

Dee Corr, mate. you will be sorely missed, you were one of a kinda, no matter what was happening you had a cheesy grin on your bake. you never got to teach me the tin whistle and i regret not lettin you teach me when we still had what seemed like all the time in the world, sittin in the sun in the botanical gardens with our 3lits and singing aul irish songs as you bantered about my singing. busking and generally being Dee, i remember the days we were in the foyer and instead of food we bought a massive carry out and partied all weekend, you stealing my clothes and goin to Laverys, always kickin my ass at pool.

Great, have to go buy a new phone today with money I can't afford to spend because the blackberry I currently have has decided it no longer wishes to work and it would cost more to get it fixed than it would to just buy a new one!!! could actually just sit and fuckin' cry my lamps out!!!
