Gar`Mak was born to Penny, the little sister of William Drake. His parents have tried for many many years to have a child, and gave up. But…without even trying, she got pregnant with her son Gar`Mak. He was a wonderful child, didn’t cause any problems, never cried, always kept his nose clean…that was until he was thirteen. He began getting into fights, causing problems. His parents tried their best to set him straight…but the last straw was when he was arrested for illegal cage fighting. But…when he turned fifteen, he met a girl, Samantha Harvey, she was human. And for all she knew, he was too. They became best friends and did everything together, but he never took her to his home, so his aunt and uncle never knew about her, period. They thought that the new changes and being around more of his kind changed him. Anyway…as they grew closer…so did their relationship, and they…kissed one night, both had nothing to drink, they were just at the park late at night. Then one night, at a party they went to, they did something, neither regretted, they made love, not the way bonding works, but…just once. Even though they were completely trashed the previous night, the next morning…they looked into each other’s eyes and…did it again, one more time the way of the wolf and the bonding would have been complete.

But nope, they just lied there in the bed at her parents house(who were out of town for a business trip) and talked. Finally…about two months into the relationship, Gar`Mak wanted to complete the bonding, to finish what they had started. So he went to her house while her parents were at work and told her…everything, what he was, explained the bonding. And Samatha…flipped. She freaked out. She didn’t think he was crazy or insane, she believed him. It was just She was young, she was only sixteen years old, just one year younger than he. Two years of knowing one another, and being completely in love didn’t make a difference. She told him to get out, ended the relationship, and told him she never wanted to see him again. This is what caused Gar`Mak’s current state of depression. The one woman he loved with all his heart and wanted to be with forever…basically ripped his heart out. From then on out, he didn’t talk to anyone. Told no one about Samantha, his relationship, his wanting a human to be his mate.
