I am now along with the rest of the world figuring out that when it rains it pours. This morning on my way to work, I found out how bad the roads actually were.
So my day started out pretty bad. I was running late and it was raining horribly hard. Plus it was freezing cold. Well I was turning left onto on of the most busy roads in Lansing. When all of a sudden this SUV also pulls out and obviously doesn't see me. So I slam on my brakes and start sliding, so I knew what was coming. She hit me on my drivers side. My car....oh yeah pretty much totaled. The speed limit was 35 MPH....she spun my car around a few times. She was estimated to be going about 45-50....yeah so it was both our faults. I got a ticket, but I'm going to fight it. She didn't even get one. Which was not fair. They said I failed to yeild, which is bullshit seeing as there were about 10 witnesses to see that I slid. And to make everything worse, it took the cops 45 mins. to get there, b/c it was on the border of Dewitt and Lansing, and just my luck I got the FRICKEN DEWITT COPS!!!! One officer gave me the ticket and the other told me to fight it. But all in all it could have been worse. I could have died the way she hit me is what the officers told me. I thank God people pray for me. But I am fine, just have some brusing on my chest, from the seatbelt, and have a broken thumb. But that was my day. I am fine and so is everything else....

So now I believe when it rains it pours. As an old friend wrote a while back. She was right.
