it's a beautiful big old victorian 3 storey house, all newly renovated with amazing rooms, a huge bathroom and a lovely wee courtyard out the back. for anyone that knows me will know how much i love history and this house is my dream :D
Gettin so excited about her 1st birthday party :) we're doin an amazing teddy bear's picnic in my mum's beautiful spring garden, all the first flowers of the year are in bloom, it's goin to be amazing. In the lovely fresh air, and hopefully the rain holds off and doesn't ruin out plans haha
I have an amazing compliation of orchestra music by Henry Hall, who originally did the song "the teddy bears picnic" in the 1920s.
Amelia's designer dress is gorgeous & expensive, but it isn't everyday you turn 1 and she deserves the best of the best :D not to mention, the enormous stack of toys that is pretty much taken over my entire bedroom!! And that's only half of what's still to come haha ....
And god, I love decorating...I have sooo many plans in my head for this wee gem <3

Mother nature, wtf is goin on?? It's March...spring time!! Why is there a blizzard??
Had to take a 10mile drive from my house, and it took over an hour. The roads were pure gridlocked. There were several traffic accidents as well.
The snow hasn't eased off all day, in fact, it's gettin worse. The snow is creeping up my door, and by morning if this percists I will be completely snowed in.
This time last year, I was out my back, sunning myself in 27oC heat!! I had sun burn, and this year I'm livin on the ice planet HOTH!!
I am very unamused by this, my heating bill is gonna be sky high!!

I start off monday by being really lazy (and a lil hungover)
Tuesday, Amelia & me went adventuring. We took a massive drive, went to the beach (not out of the car though, it was snowing!!!) I made a kick ass chicken casserole, veg soup, and an egg salad. I might as well be masterchef haha :D
Wednesday, I went shopping (my favourite past time) and got myself some beaut midi dresses...girl
Also, booked myself in for my sleeping cherub tattoo...start
And Thursday...(That's today!!) I have went through all my clothes and have thrown out sooo much, and am givin last season clothes to charity (who wants to wear out of date clothes, am I right??!!)
I was called "egotistical" today. Haha that's hilarious!!
Been out looking at new houses too :D hopefully be moving soon. Cannot wait to decorate, I love painting...gon

Managed to come home at a reasonable time (2am...) And was still up before 8am, sober to get Amelia :)
Today (saturday) it is snowing :( snow in March, WTAF?!?
I hate snow, and I hate the cold, so me and Amelia have made a sofa nest and are stuffing our faces with junk food and watching cartoons :)

And obvs being a mother. This is hectic crazy fun :) but also very time consuming, but totally worth it though. Who'd of thought, this crazy party girl, curled up in her fluffy pj's and in bed by 8pm, with a good book and an aul brew :) times change lol
My Miss Amelia-Rose will be one in a mere matter of weeks, and planning is soo stressgul. But thankfully I'm not an idiot and realise this is her first birthday, she doesn't need an over exaggerated birthday. So we are keeping it simple but classy ( I mean what 1 year old needs a dj or disco??...) But I have spent £55 on a cake...it was my one over the top thing :) other than her mountain of gathering presents that have been purchased over the last 6months...I swear, it's a mountain...
I'll keep y'all updated on the proceedings...
...we will be jettin off for 10days in Barcelona soon..so excited, sun and tan. I'm comin for you, bitch!!
And lastly, on friday 8th March. I was told I had "carpal tunnel syndrome" and would need surgery to correct it. Pretty nervous about that, but thankfully (I think) the waiting list is about 8months. So I have plenty of time to get my head around the notion.
If anyone knows anything about "carpal tunnel syndrome" I'd love to know :D

I was awoken by what i thought to be the sound of a lawnmower When I gazed out my over yonder not a single one was to be seen. Scanning my eyes around for a few moments I realized there hovering aimlessly in front of my face was the worlds most robust wasp. Startled I thought to myself "Dear Odin I hope that this overfed arthropod does not find a way in here". I closed my eyes and the noise was closer, it had infiltrated what I had thought to be an impenetrable fortress. Letting out a loud high pitched scream I reached for the nearest aerosol can. I began dowsing my foe and hoping for death by asphyxiation. The wasp fell to the floor and was crawling around in a pain induced seizure. I then laid the finishing blow with a bludgeon fit only for such an adversary. Going from the winged warrior of doom that he was to laying there lifeless, painless and completely still made me feel a strange sense of honor for the creature now to give him a send off fit only for the kings of men. Well met my winged foe, travel well to the gates of Valhalla.
