*Show me the way*

Jagged edges never cut straight
Straight edges never cut deep
Knives, blades, glass, razors
Pick your weapon of mutilation

Short sleevs never cover enough
Long sleeves aren't always in fashion
Coats, blankets, band-aids, gauls
Don't always cover the marks

Parents never understand
Friends say they'll always be there
Betrayl, abuse, confusion, loneliness
Always a different reason for it

Death never comes soon enough
Life always lingers on
Wrists, neck, head, stomach
All places to end it all

Suicide is never though of as a good thing
Pain is always kept inside
Anger, hate, rage, hurt
All spawn from leaving it within to boil

Society never realizes its faults
Nations always ignore their individuals
Greed, selfishness, lust, power
What makes this "great" world go round

*Would he care*

Would he care if I loved him
He seemed to like it
Would he care if he meant everything to me
It doesn't seem to phase him
Would he care if he saw the marks
He only tells me it's stupid
Would he care if he was the cause
He'd only say he wasn't
Would he care if I felt alone
I don't think he realizes
Would he care if I was dying inside
He would't even mind
But I wonder would he even care if I died
Perhaps we'll find out

Leave me standing alone
For I know it's my pain and your release
I was but a thorn in your side
A toy you seldom played with
Useless words of promise
I should have shyed away

Leave me with my tears
They are all I have to comfort me
All I have to count on
Always from a chain reaction
I should know better
But the cause for my comfort I'll never let go

Leave me with my pain
A quick look within the darkness of my eyes
Can't you tell I know what I'm risking
I know the pain to come for the love I have
I'll gladly take it though
Gladly beg you to leave me be

Give me love or give me death
Raise my hopes, only if you won't break them
Among the dark, be my light
Hold me close, and never let me go
At last I feel safe, here and now
Making my heart not so cold

Just a gentle touch
Override all reason in mind
Hope tis' the gift you gave me
Never knowing such a feeling of longing

Laying beside you, would be bliss
A break of the usual dear
Unusual feelings maybe I shouldn't have
Grasping for the stars ins't unlikely in my mind
Love me for who I am
Incase I never change
Never abandon me

*Have you lived*

Have you lived all alone
Walking barefoot on the stone
Sleeping in worse places than the streets
My heart has it's defeats
A small child dumb to society
Having no anxiety

My childhood may have sucked
But she was given no parental code of conduct
I was cursed from the moment I was born
To live a life of scorn
I left God along time ago
It hasn't affected me though

I look at my mother
Hoping to grow up like another
She is the miage of poor
With the life she made me live I became mature
have you lived my life of pain
I think not, so do I live or die in vain

The image of beauty before you
A glimmer of heaven in your eyes
Blessed be, forever me
Let my body lay in dread
Savor lively gaze
The whisper of sanity in your words
That brings me back to this wretched world
But you are the light at the end of my tunnel
Takes me on a journey but always brings me back
Like this love I have to say
Hopefully you'll see this and wanna stay
My love is all I have for you my beauty
So tell me is that even close to your worth
