I have no clue what the purpose of the game is yet, but it has been fun so far. Any pointers?

2007-02-26 [FireGypsy]: It is like FFXI almost, but not quite. I find it hard to control my person. I have a laptop and no mouse so clicking where I want to go is confusing and shit.

Use the WASD buttons, and the normal arrow buttons to change the view direction.
I have a character on another server, but you two were on this one. Where are you at in the game?

2007-02-27 [Tear]: Best way to compensate is to move the resolution really high, and then set the view reach really far, and then move whatever windows go in that corner to another spot, and forget about the screen being fucked up.

2007-02-28 [FireGypsy]: Well, I need the action slots, and those are unmovable. I have to do a quest, and am broke XD

2007-02-28 [Tear]: Go to the northmost part of the map you can get to, and fight a bunch of those blue dudes by the part of the northside of the map that has a river that f.lows into the ocean.
A lot of them carry equips, or other usefuls, and they are easy to defeat.
You get a fair amount of penya from them too.

2007-02-28 [Tear]: They do, I am sure as well, but for people new to the game, like myself, those were the best drops I've found for the first area, that does not involve being able to fly.

2007-02-28 [FireGypsy]: Well, my computer wont turn on now after I shut it off. I press the power button and the regular lights turn on for a few seconds and then shut off. I talked to Dell an they don't know what is wrong with it. They want me to have everything replaced for $400 and I didnt do anything to cause it and the warranty wont cover it. If I have everything replaced I will lose everything on my computer and I don't want that. So I am fucked. I have no fucking money. I owe hundreds of dollars that I dont have already. Looks like I wont be playing Flyff for a long time. I am on the house computer right now. And I am not allowed to download anything onto it.

2007-02-28 [FireGypsy]: I have tried that. They even had me pull out my harddrive and memory cards and put them back in. I don't know what is wrong with the damn thing. I am contemplating taking the whole damn thing apart and putting it back together.

2007-02-28 [Big Brother]: but you didn't leave it for a few hours.....that is the main step. even if you pull the battery there are capacitors and such that keep going. ^_^ just try leaving the battery out for a while, more than a few minutes.
