Follow the Reaper



Follow The Reaper is the third album by the Finnish melodic death metal band Children of Bodom. The band's style in this release differs from the neo-classical approach of the Hatebreeder album, and a sound more heavily influenced by power metal presents itself. It is considered by many of the band's fans to be Children of Bodom's best album.

The CD booklet contains the lyrics of "Every Time I Die", "Hate Me!" and "Kissing the Shadows". The song "Kissing the Shadows" was hastily composed by Alexi Laiho on the day of recording. The bonus track "Hellion" was released on the US version.

The album was Children of Bodom's first platinum album.
