Live is an alternative rock band from York, Pennsylvania. They formed in 1989 under the name Public Affection while still in high school and released a demo tape under that name, before changing their name to Live before the release of their debut album in 1991.
In 2009, Live announced that they are on a planned 2-year hiatus, while the members work on other projects. Ed is releasing a solo album, while the two Chads and Patrick are in a new band called The Gracious Few with Candlebox vocalist Kevin Martin.
