History- As a small child without memories, Yuki was saved by Kaname from a vampire. The adopted daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, Yuki is a first year student and a member of the school's disciplinary committee, which means secretly acting as a Guardian for Cross Academy by monitoring and protecting the Day Class from the Night Class. Yuki is actually a pureblood vampire and the last child of Juri and Haruka Kuran but she dosen't know this only Kaname dose, NO ONE ELSE DOSE.

Personality- He is eccentric in some ways, but he has a serious side as well.
History- Kaien Cross was a former vampire hunter. He knew both of Kaname's parents, who founded the Cross Academy peace treaty before their deaths, and feels indebted to them, in particular Juri Kuran, who had spared his life sixteen years ago after he had attempted to take away her life, not knowing then that she was pregnant with Yuki. During the defense of Cross Academy, Cross stands against the hunters from the Hunters Association, refusing to kill any vampires and intending only to protect the Night Class as they defend the Day Class, and asserts that he has no intention of allowing the hunters to take Yuki.

History- Nicknamed "Idol" by the Day Class girls, is known among the Night Class along with his cousin Akatsuki Kain to be "Kaname-sama's right hand". A noble-class vampire who can conjure and control ice.
Aido is not overly fond of Yuki and dislikes the attention that Kaname gives her.

Personality-Seemingly gentle person, He is normally a stoic and authoritative individual, but is very kind, warm, and gentle to Yuki. He is very strict and often imposes discipline in a fierce way.
History-Kaname is the president of Night Class and a seemingly gentle person. He is one of few pure blood vampires in existence and is therefore highly respected by the night class. He had fallen for Yuki ever since he saved her as a child and always watches over her. He wants to be closer to her, but senses how shy she is about it. Kaname knew of Zero eventually becoming a vampire and despises him for feeding from Yuki. Kaname has asked Headmaster Cross to put Zero in the night class, but to no avail. Kaname would do away with Zero if it wouldn’t hurt Yuki so badly. When Shizuka comes to Cross Academy, Kaname commits the greatest sin among vampires by killing her, a pure blood.

Personality-Yagari comes across as a no nonsense gruff hunter. He subscribes to a tough love attitude. He is realistic and not an unfair judge and though a hunter, he does not appear to dislike vampires despite having lost his eye to a level E vampire when protecting Zero once. He expresses admiration for the night class when they stand against the Council, but warns them against becoming outcasts. He doesn't approve of Kaname's methods and reacts negatively to Kaname's implications of atonement for the sins of the hunters ancestors.
History-Yagari was Zero’s teacher in vampire hunting as a child. He is currently the top vampire hunter, since the Kiryu family is no longer around. He lost an eye to a vampire attack because Zero pleaded for him to have mercy on the turned human he was going to kill. Yagari was sent to Cross Academy by someone to see if Zero was under control, and to eliminate him if he wasn’t. During his time at Cross Academy, he teaches a Night Class. He had originally brought Zero to Headmaster Cross and wanted him to care for Zero after his attack.

Personality-Zero was a quiet and gentle boy. Zero developed a deep hatred and distrust of vampires he sports a scary aura that makes most of the Day Class students wary of him. However, his innate nature is to protect people (humans), his cold attitude towards those he loves is likely to push them away and keep everyone at a distance. Zero harbors a great disgust towards himself because of inability to control his hunger and reliance on Yuki. His dismal outlook on his future and fear of what he might do causes him to give up and he almost kills himself. He fights to ignore his hunger to the point of starvation rather than go to Yuki
History-Zero’s family was slaughtered by pure blood vampire 4 years before the present story. Headmaster Cross found him and took him in. He knew Zero would eventually become a vampire since he was bitten in the attack, so he had the tattoo put on Zero’s neck as a sort of spell in hopes of preventing the change. Since it didn’t work, the tattoo now acts as a safety measure for when he gets out of control; all someone has to do is touch the tattoo with a metal charm that has Zero’s blood on it, which is on a bracelet Yuki wears. Zero comes from a long line of famous vampire hunters. He was trained in his hunting skills by Yagari Toga. Zero has a seething hatred towards vampires and therefore is constantly struggling with himself. He doesn’t like Kaname coming near Yuki, and is pretty protective of her. He hates himself for attacking Yuki and continually drinking from her, but his cravings are unbearable. He dreams of the day he can take his revenge on the woman who killed his family.

Personality-Akatsuki is always a calm person. He is also a peacekeeper in the Moon Dorm. Akatsuki holds an unrequited love for Ruka (who views him as her best friend only,) and loyally follows her in whatever path she chooses. He has only lost his patience when Ruka has been in danger and told Kaname Kuran that he would never forgive him if Kaname hurt Ruka. He is incredibly perceptive and is frequently sensitive to others' feelings, most particularly with Aidou and Ruka's. He is also loyal and protective, and will never betray his friends.
History-Kain is Aido’s cousin and roommate. He’s usually hanging around with idol and lets him do as he pleases. The fan girls in the Day Class nicknamed him "Wild", because of he looks wild. When Shizuka died, Kain, saw Zero holding his gun in the room where she was killed, and reports to Kaname what he saw.

History- Maximus grew up as the only child living only with his father in the country side, he doesn't talk because before he first came a slayer came. The slayer killed his father and hurt Max. His voice box was wrecked in the fight and now it's very painfull for him to talk. No one at the school knows about it casue they just think he's mute or want's to be left alone casue he usally has to write what he was going to say down, but no one ever stays to see.

Personality- Very mature for his age, but he mainly keeps to himself. His actually very dark, always looks like he’s depressed, given his nature if you speak to him, you’ll be lucky if you get full sentences out of him. His voice also quite fits him, it’s very dark and depressing, very growling. [For an example, listen to a bit of Shape of Despair, song Quiet these Paintings Are.]
History- He was born from a pure blood family, so naturally there’s not a single stitch of human blood in him, he was raised to neither hate, nor adore humans. So naturally he really doesn’t have an option, he’s more like ‘shrug whatever’ At the proper age, his parents figured maybe he should have some interaction with humans, since they actually had none, so he was sent to the academy regardless of his complaints and objections of leaving the few friends he had. So there he remained to this day, occasionally getting visits from his parents, and going to see them. During the years of his stay, he watched the humans, watched how they acted and even tired imitate them, act as if they acted, but not for that long, he grew bored of it, so he reformed into his current state, acting depressed, keeping to himself. Not because he didn’t like acting like a human, but there’s no reason why, well it’s not known why, it’s never been found out due to him not talking very much to anyone, so it’s unclear as to if he even knows why. His power that he learned at a rapid state is Hydromancy. And his voice…very hypnotic, but that just came natural, it wasn’t a learned power, he’s always had it, both his parents had it, their parents had it, and so on and so forth, but this is only when he sings, which you’ll have to sneak up on him to hear, as he doesn’t sing when others are watching, only when he’s completely alone.
