History:He was born and raised on Mindoir, a small border colony in the Attican Traverse. When he was sixteen, slavers raided Mindoir, slaughtering his family and friends. He was saved by a passing Alliance patrol, and he enlisted with the military a few years later. During his service, a mission he was on went horribly wrong. Trapped in an extreme survival situation, he had to overcome physical torments and psychological stresses that would have broken most people. He survived while all those around him fell, and now he alone he left to tell the tale.

History: Kaiden has been with John for as ong as Joker has. He was the solider who went down to Akuze and got Shepherd onto the Normandy. Joker and Kaiden really don't like each other all that much but they get along well enough to get the job done.

History: Not much is known about Wrex, or any krogan's, history. The Krogans never really kept records of their past, they always battled to the future.

History: Not much else is known of Liara's past except that she is Matriarch Benezia's daughter and that she has been a scientist and researcher for all of her life.

History:Her mother was a whore to sedate her drug addiction. Her father, well, who the hell knows where, or even who, he is. She's never met him, just knows that her mother was in 'love' with him and hated Gadget for looking like him. Her mother was mostly drugged up when she had Gadget, and when she looked outside, she saw a shipping container with GADGET on the side, so that became her name. As for her last name, it's Doe after 'Jane Doe' because her mother didn't know her father's last name.

History: How he came about is a story in itself. The short version is, that his mother was a frail and sickly human- who's only chance of survival was to gain a enviro-suit. One of the Quairian's brave enough to enter the ship-off of his own to reduce risk of exposing the entire population-fell in love with her and slowly but surely the Mirgrant Fleet allowed her to live among them. When he left for his Pilgrimage, he never returned. He ditched his suit and almost immediately became ill and nearly died. The Doctors insisted he put it back on to save his own life... So he bounced around until he found one willing to give immunity shots a try. When he first started on them, he had one every day, plus other supplements and still spent a couple years in a hospital. Finally his body adapted and slowly they eased him off, finding a good number of him getting shots every other week. He still has to take other supplements though. Because of his biotic immunity implants, the shots and supplements, he's been able to take up the life of a soldier. He looks all human, and other then his weak immune system and name, most don't know about his real heritage. Like he says, he's not keeping it a secret, people just don't bother to ask, so he doesn't say.

History: Eve grew up in mindoir, she was friends with John Shepherd before her parents sent her away. Eve's mother and father heard that the slavers where coming to town, they tryed to warn everyone but who would believe them? No one. Anyways Eve was sent to her godfather Decker to live with. Eve begged her parents to come with her or at least let her bring John with her but they said no. And that was the last she had ever seen of her parents,her friends and John. So from the age of 16 she was raised by her godfather Decker. He taught her to fight, to use all different kinds of new and old and the very old weapons. He kept her safe until now. Eve knows she's ready to go and find her family, her friends and to find her best friend John. She made a promise to herself that she would find them all but deep down she knows there all dead but she dosen't want to think about that.

History: Katie is a silent person but she will speak if she has too. Her mother slept with a Asari male on a one night stand and she became pregnant. Katie's mother was ashamed of her that she left Katie on the streets to fed for herself. Katie foster mother found her and took care of her right up until she died. Katie was so angry and upset that she enlisted. She doesn't want to know her birth parents, she suppresses her Asari side of herself because it pisses her off. She looks more human because she looks so much like her mother.
