2006-10-01 [FireGypsy]: Here's a story for you guys! Okay so I have been practicing Poi for one week now as of last Saturday. So I went to the beach yesterday (Saturday) and I was practicing with my glowsticks while the ones with fire were doing their thing. And I learned a few moves and got good with my transitioning. The some guy came over and said "why dont you do that with fire" to which I replied, "I have only been doing this for a week and I dont have my equipment yet. He then says "Well you can use mine!" And I did! I did Fire Poi in front of lots of people! I did really good! And I didnt burn myself haha!

2006-10-01 [FireGypsy]: I was scared to even do the glowpoi in front of people just to practice. But I did eventually and practiced for about 2 hours before the guy asked me. I was soooo scared! But when he dipped them in the fuel and handed them to me and lit them, the adrenaline just kicked in and I Poied away! It was fun! My friend got some pictures and a video! Im bugging him to send them to me at the moment lol! I hope the video is a gif file or the like so that I could show it! I look really good in the video! *is excited again* lol!
