id you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?
The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.
The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.
When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them.
God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm.
Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.
My life has been the typical parents don't wanna spend time with their kids cause they work so much and are hardly home yet they wanna make it look like they've always been there for you..umm yeah oookay. And i'm not saying i dont love them cause yeah i do, their my parents, but i hardly see them, and my sisters and i have been raised by a nanny for god sakes..
I was given material things instead of love so i always looked to the guys i use to be with to comfort me and make me feel like i meant something.
However my parents always said and put into my head that basically i'm better than everyone and at first i was kinda like wtf shut up, but everyday i started to feel like i was..and now i still do, like i dont go to used stores, eww i'm just the one with high standards..like it says on that pic on my page..i say what i want
i get what i want
and i do what i want...
and majority of my life i have.
A friendship efflorescence became a chrysalis de l’amour. A deep, loving friendship culminated in adulation. Magnanimous effulgence induced dulcet anticipation. For our gratuitous ebullitions of innocuous intent, forgiveness we ingratiate, the nescience circumvented. Narcissism we expel, slake, expatriate! Instead, we foment ambrosial maleficence, spawning amorous inebriation! With altruistic deference, laden with the truth, we cultivate, strengthen, our mutual respect. Idiosyncrasies of each other we abide, even when seemingly uncouth. Compassionate understanding, intrinsically profound, with a sympathising heart improves our sincerity all around. We perpetuate the esteem of each other, euphorically astound, rhapsodize conjointly each other's hopes and dreams, as we subjugate opposition to bring fruition to our schemes. Spurning ostentatiousness, allowing only vacuous ambiguity; acrimony, duplicity, umbrage, these we keep adjourned. However, coquettish propositions, mixed with voluptuous rendezvous, leads us to delectable elation, with exalted rapture that ensues!
Jarryn sighed and pushed open the driver’s side car door. Calandra followed after him. “Why did you bring me here?” she asked. He wasn’t watching her, instead his eyes gazed out over the valley that stretched miles outward and hundreds of feet down. She was at his side now, watching the distance with him. “Hell if I should know.” Jarryn shrugged and he could see her body twitch. He knew that she watched him from the corner of her eye, loved how his muscles moved under the black t-shirt. He couldn’t help but grin, his perfect white teeth gleaming behind his lips. “I don’t want this Jarryn.” Suddenly, his smile was gone and his lips pulled into a straight line. He knew exactly what she meant. “I obviously can’t fight you, but I can at least say that I don’t want you.” Jarryn’s eyebrows arched as he narrowed his glaring eyes. How could she not want me? he thought. Calandra sighed. “I’m not as stupid as you think I am.” Her eyes shifted to his, a deep sadness pooled inside them. “How much do you know?” he questioned.“Enough,” she replied directly. His mind whirled in a sense of alertness and caution. So she knew his secret, she wouldn’t be able to live. One push, that’s all it takes. It would take weeks, maybe months to find the body, that is if they knew where to look. It’s so far down… He was being tempted by the voice in his head. Jarryn took Calandra’s arm swinging, her around in front of him. “You shouldn’t have spoke up.” He pushed her off the ledge, her arms flailing as her body soared to the ground below. He grinned, watching her fall to her death, seeing the pain in her face. It was how he lived and what he lived for.
