The Defender

Long ago, several men and women of a small village leave their home, they all kiss their family's good bye. They know they will never see them again, they would gladly give their lives to save the people. Igor left his pregnant wife in the care of the villagers, knowing he would never see her again, knowing he would never get the chance to see his son. Before his death he writes a letter, gives it to his wife and tells her to give it to their son when he becomes a man. Almost twenty years pass, Igor, and the others are all gone. Chaos is every where once again and people all over are suffering from the cruelty's of a young man by the name of Nickolaus. Igor's son Idian searches for the remains of his father. After a year of searching, he returns home, His mother is ill, and dieing, she hands him a letter from his father.
"When you are old enough to read these words, their meaning wil unfold. These words are all thats left of me, though we've never met, my only son, I hope you know, that I would have been there, to watch you grow, but my call was herd, and I had to go. To help the helpless ones, who all looked up to me, I had to defend them, and to the end I did. Now your mission, lies ahead of you, as it did mine, so long ago. Now I ask of you...Ride like the wind, fight proud my son, you are the defender, God has sent."
As Idian read these words, he knew what his father meant, and he became the New Defender, just as his father did before him. After his mother died he spoke to his close friends, and he asked them to go with him. They all left together to end the suffering forever.
