You can tell people of past experiences and take advice from that, but you are not diagnose anyone with anything or tell them to do anything other than get help if they are willing to do so (ie. Don't tell people to start cutting to alieviate the pain of wanting to commit suicide). Remember, you are here to listen and support not make-fun or condem.
