A new server is ordered and next week Elfpack will hopefully (if the new computer does work without any unsolvable problems at all... Very unlikely, but...) be at full speed.

The new server will be about as fast and big as Elftown's server, and as Elfpack is about 5-6 times smaller, this will be a very fast and nice place.

So goodbye [krill], we're not going to miss you, but thanks for the nice time so far! ;-)

Update: The computer was sent the morning 2005-04-21.

I got a new net without much warning. When the net stopped working, I finally got the tip to search for a new one. I got that working on Tuesday.

But of course it didn't work that well. I had to reconfigure my network and do a lot of studies how to set up IP-Masquerading to make my computers share the same IP, as the new operator hasn't got more than one IP working yet.

Well, to make the story short and simple: Sorry for the down-time!

Update: Had some problems here for a unknown reason and Elfpack was unreachable during some hour before 2005-04-15 17:14:42.

Update2: (2005-04-16 01:11:47) My computer has gone to Kingdom Come again. It's not that bad for Elfpack, exept that you can't reach the server, but it's quite annoying. I think it's something with my new software. I have no idea where to search for the problem, so expect more problems! Elfpack will be open as long as I'm awake and at home, but if it continue to crash like this it will be down when I'm not here. :-(

(Magician note: It's really not an Elfpack crash. It's just a crash of the network to Elfpack. If it would have been an Elfpack crash, you' would have seen missing houses, lost wiki-pages and other bad stuff. Now you just couldn't reach Elfpack for a while. But you can call it a crash in some meaning of the word...)

(Artist's Note) Well duh, yeah, but come on now, it was down for what, three whole days?? I almost went insane. Its a crash of the human psyche, not EP... XD

If you press reload now, you'll see that Elfpack has got new colours.

But it's actually the colours from www.modelicacommunity.org that accedently got copied here. I'll let them be for a while, but then I'll update to something gray again. Maybe less grey than before, but we'll see what people think.

Update: The grey is almost back. Guards and crew do have some more red things. And it's a little lighter, I think. And some other changes that I don't know about.
