Before recorded history there was Atlantis, a beauitful place which was separedted from the by high mountain range. Atlanteans were an insular society, never looking outward to see what was beyond there mountains. A earthqwake changed that. It split the mountain, cracked it open, bleeding the volcano onto the city, then a second earthqwake-or aftershock- swallowed it up. Atlantis just sank into the water. The few of us who survived were all inmmortal, and were suddenly left without technology. While Atlantis had been advanced technologically, the world we now found ourselves forced to join was peopled by far less advanced societies; hunters and gatherers, for the most part. There was no more transfusions, no more science, but the nanos were still doing what they did and using up our blood to keep us alive and in peek condition. Most of us had never known the hunger for blood until then and were consumed by it, but the nanos made the necessary changes to see that we survived.

Several thousand years later we are still here but only five hundred of us live. Though the years some of us have died -only by beheading, fire or being staked- by acciented or turning into a rouge, which is very rare for our kind. We have immortal laws that was in forced apon by the Argeneau family, one of the oldest powerful family in the immortal world. But now the Argeneau's inforces are in over there little immortal heads as rouges are becoming more violate, leaving mortals drained of blood in homes, cars, in the middle of the woods for the mortal cops to find. Which is not good news for immortals so we have to work even harder at covering up the mess, wipe the minds of humans etc.


Rouges

Rouge or rogue vampire are were a very old immortal is bored with life or dosen't lost his/her's life mate or dosen't have a life mate, so they become vindictived, crazy, mad, violate and offen leave a trail so the inforces can follow. When the rouge is caught he or she will have to go to the immortal suprene court. Then the judges will read the rouges mind to see if he or she should but killed.If the rouge is found guilt then he or she will be staked and baked, staked in the heart and left in the sun until night fall then they will be set on fire until nothing but ash is left.

Nanos

Atlantean scientistis were trying to devlop a way to repair or remove things like canser, infection, and sepious injuries without resorting to surgery and inflicting further trama on the body. What they came up with were nanos, little bio-engineered gizmos that were programmed to travel through the body, regenerate tissue, or surround and kill off any infection or illness that may be present.They succeeded beyond their expectations. The nanos did go in and perform repairs and kill off infections and cancer, and anything else that attacked the body. It was hailed as medical breakthough. Anyone that got the nanos had to have blood transfusions because the nanos used more blood than to human body can make.
The Nanos made the Atlanteans evole into beings of the night. They made them stronger and faster to be more effcient at the hunt-when Atlantis fell- they impoved our night vision so we could hunt at night and avoid the damaging rays of the sun that would increase our need for blood and they gave us fangs to get the blood we need.

Lifemate

A lifemate is a person -immortal or mortal- you can not read there mind or anything. You are very sexual attractive to that person, you feel like you have know that person forever and a day. An immortal has to block his or her thoughts from other immortals but an immortal dosen't need to do the with his or lifemate because the lifemate can't read or hear your thoughts at all, it's like coming home to appsolute bliss to be a pease with that person.A lifemate is a rare thing because an immortal could wait up to 500 year for him or her to show up in there life, so the lifemate be protected at all times until the immortal turns there lifemate.

Edentates and No-fangers

Edentat is latin for no teeth. Edentat are immortals who have no fangs to help them get what they need to survive. The one who are sane are called edentates. However, the ones who are plagued with insanity and go rogue are usually called no-fangers to differentiate the two.

Immotrals-or vampires- laws

Law 1: An immortal can only turn one mortal in a lifetime, and that one time is only for a lifemate.

Law 2: An female immortal can only have one child every hundred years , this is because population control. Because immortals can't run out of blood by having too many children.

Law 3: Immortal's are restricted to bagged blood except in cases of emergency, health issues or phobias. In emergencys would be if you where in a car crash and the other person is fine but you are hurt really badly. So you feed off the other person to save your life. Health issues would be you can't drink cold bagged blood because of a genetic disorder which would mean yo would have to bite a mortal. A phobia would be Haemaphobia which means a fear of blood, which would mean you would have to bite a mortal for food.

Law 4: Mortals must not know about us unless he or she is your lifemate. Because if a mortal knew about us then we would wipe his or her's mind but if they had a strong mind-which is too strong to be controled- the we would kill them.
