Magic has always been deeply rooted in the lives of the Old-Norse peoples. As they traveled and settled, and raided, plundered and conqured any land they touched, magic came with them, developed and grew... But it also tore them apart, seperated them ito clans... Clans that began waring amongst themselves... At last, there was a great battle between them all... Many of the Old-Nrse peoples died until the cheif god, Odin, stopped them. He and the other gods no longer wished their people to fight, they wanted peace, specialy sense there was a new threat on the horizen... The gods and goddesses created a new way of life for the Old-Norse peoples, selecting leaders by hand, as well as priestesses known as Völva who keeps magic going, as well as the old legends.

Ok, so the chosen Chiedtens are all male, and there is only one per god or goddess. Also, the Völva are all women and only one per god or goddess. I will be making their basic profiles and you get to add detail...lol.

These are humans but yes, they have magic and yes there are big scary monsters...lol. Dragons work with, not for the people, and not all of them want to help, so keep that in mind...

3. Only Scandinavian names please, don't worry about last names either.
4. We humans aren't immortal, not even with the help of magic. No being hundres of years old, and you can be killed.
