| What do you do when your xbox 360 takes a dump, you know who won the election, and everyone's asleep cuz it's three o'clock in the morning? Grab a book or go about the town vandalizing. Me, I grabbed a book. While looking for something to do I found my sister's copy of Twilight lying on the coffee table and in light of the upcoming movie, decided to take a peek. The peek turned out to be a full read however. Now, the movie preview shows a decent amount of action and fighting as far as I can tell, which the book does not have. This didn't really bother me however, because I found that what the book lacks in action was balanced by comedy. Also, I felt it is aimed more towards teen aged girls, but it is well written and put, for me, a new spin on vampires. All in all, I think if you're interested in vampires it's definitely worth a look. / [tekkon kinkreet] More book reviews |
