2011-10-08 [Bookwyrm]: First I'd like to say that not all of the guards are predisposed to judge you on your fiance's actions, though the subject has come up. That being said, that has not been the only factor being discussed. Our main problem right now is that we are overstaffed. We have more staff than we know what to do with most days, and Elfpack isn't really that busy. Another factor is that we like our crew members to already be established on Elfpack in some way. Typically crew members have already been doing a lot of stuff for Elfpack before they're invited to crew. Maybe try making some unofficial contests and getting people to participate. Familiarize yourself with Elfpack's rules and help the guards keep an eye out for rule breakers in houses and on wikis. Make your own informative or fun wikis. The crew will take notice of these things. :) The more you do for Elfpack, the more we'll notice you, and the more likely it is that you'll be invited to join the crew.

The problem with you, and I think I speak for the entirety of the crew here, is that you just aren't funny. Take it from the most prominent and important council member as well as Elfpack's self-proclaimed vice warden. Humor is everything in this business, kid. You think I got to where I am today by taking everything so seriously? You think I earned these privs with hard work and dedication? God, no. Do you think [Bookwyrm] is so popular here because of her brilliant mind, art, poetry, and kindness? Don't make me laugh! We got here because we're hilarious. We make people smile, so we don't have to be competent workers. Back me up here, Wyrmy!

So, if I might make a suggestion, don't stop harassing the crew. We like that. We're masochists. We think it's good, but the only problem is, you're just not funny when you do it. If you want people to take you seriously, don't be so serious all the time. I mean, seriously! Take it from me when I tell you not to take if from me, because if you take it from me it's stealing, which Bookwyrm may be a fan of, but I find despicable. I'm serious here, don't be so serious.
