Kianna chuckled softly, glad that her teasing had gotten to him a little and began taking off her wrist guard as she walked with him, setting it down on a bench just before they left the archery range.. "A different approach My Lord?" She asked as they walked, glancing up at him. She grinned again, "I suppose running a marriage and a kingdom are rather demanding tasks.." She paused a moment, "Did you get your wife a puppy for distraction?" She chuckled.

"HA! No; If I get a puppy, it's going to learn to hunt. Not some cutsie little lap dog type thing.... That's not a bad idea, actually." He began to grin.

"What, you getting a new hunting dog, or me getting a dog for distraction?" She raised a brow at him, "I think a little dog would get caught up and kicked in my large skirts, poor thing... Now, a big dog.. Like a wolf hound would do me very well." She looked at him and grinned before poking him lightly. "Now tell me, what's your idea for managing our marriage?"

Kailoto kissed her on the cheek, grinning. "Either... We'll both get the dogs we want. Deal?"

2 years later

Kailoto and Jericho continue their 'cold war' feud was starting to ease off. Jericho and Tarina finally had their daughter who is 6 month old Leana. she was a bubbly little brown haired, green eyed child. Tarina spent as much time with her as she did with Jericho to make sure they had a healthy Father-daughter relationship. She did anything she could to get her King to talk or write to Kailoto to work on bringing their past agreement forward.

Kailoto and Kianna's relationship had begun to get to that of a young couple about to take the next step. Already being married and having a consumated their marriage, it seemed they were acting like a couple that started loving each other. Mostly. The King would still get annoyed when he recieved word from Jericho's kingdom that wasn't what he wanted, and was still short tempered... but it may have something more to do with the desire to just... get the alliance sorted

Jericho gazed down at his daughter, holding her carefully. He still held her like she was glass and any slight rough movement would shatter her. "Beautiful girl." He said softly, "With eyes like summer grass. We'll need a very special husband for you." He nodded.
   Kianna read her letter from Tarina with a small smile. "Good news at last." She whispered to her large dog sitting faithfully next to her. He was a birthday gift from Kailoto; it had taken a while to find a wolfhound. The two women had been exchanging letters all during the 'cold war', trying to bring peace. It might well finally happen. She looked up as a messenger from Jericho walked past the main hall where many lords and ladies hung around- just outside of the throne room. She knew Kailoto would take the note there.

Tarina was reading a book that she had borrowed from Kianna. Hearing her husband talk to their little princess brought a great smile to her face, so she looked up to watch them both for a moment. "You're so good with her! I love it... I love you both." Setting the book down.
    Kailoto was walking by with the messenger, the letter in his hands. He glanced in when he noticed it was Kianna in the room and smiled softly at her. "How's the beast doing?" He'd pause long enough to ask his question so he could hurry and read what was delivered.

Jericho looked at her and smiled a little. "I like having a daughter. I love you both too." Her looked at his daughter again. "I'm still worried I'll break her though. She's so little.."
    Kianna stood and curtsied to her husband before starting to walk with him. She knew he was anxious to read the letter. "The beast is doing fine. "He's getting over his leather chewing at least." She chuckled. "May I be there when you open the letter?" With advisors at his elbows she knew that asking would be the best approach. If she just invited herself they would grumble and mutter. This was just faster.

She let off a soft laugh and leaned in to kiss him, then stroked their daughter's cheek. "Lena's a tough child. She isn't as fragile as you think." Her beautiful, little green eyes locked on her mother
    "Good, because if I have to purchase another pair of shoes because of him, I'll skin him and feed him to the poor." Kailoto stood up straight and thought for a quick second, then shrugged his shoulders. "I guess so; you're the queen after all and if it wasnt for you, I'd be neck deep in another war." He stepped forward to give her room to join them.

He smiled a little, "I supposed so." his fingers ran over his daughter's arms for a moment before he looked at Tarina. "I've sent a letter to Kailoto...I'm hoping he'll agree to the exchanging of knowledge.. Our best farmers for a few of his men.."
    Kianna nodded, "Thank you. I'll be as quiet as a mouse." She turned to her ladies, "Take him outside." She said before joining them.

"Oh good! I'm glad you did that. Here, I think little lady needs to be fed." She reached out for the little princess with a smile
    Kailoto laughed. "Well see about that!" Once they were in the room, he cracked the seal on the letter

Jericho nodded a little and handed their daughter over to her. He sighed softly, "I'm hoping it'll open communication a little more."
    Kianna stayed to the side of the room, picking at her corset edge. She was waiting for him to read it so she could ask to know what it was about.

Tarina got settle with the little lady and dropped part of her blouse for the princess to have access to her meals. Modesty ment nothing When it came to feeding their daughter. "I bet it does; this is what you both wanted in the first place. Why did you get so suspicious of one another?" She spoke while patting Lena gently.
    The king looked up a minute later and sighed, bracing himself on the table with a content look on his face. "Seems like quite a bit is going in our favor now." Smiling as he stood. "I certainly didn't think we would get to this point again."

Jericho frowned a little, shaking his head. "Honestly? I'm not sure.. His tone, what I said.. I don't know."
    Kianna sighed in relief, "Oh good.. Good news then, what is his proposal?"

She studied his expression closely, then got distracted when the baby bit down too hard. "Ow... guess we're getting a tooth." Tarina laughed softly. "We'll take it a day at a time. You know better than I when things get questionable."
    "He wants to send us his best farmers in exchange for a few of our best men! So we'll be able to start growing more food in unconventional places." Kailoto walked up to her and gave her a soft kiss. "No more struggles for this kingdom!"

Jericho glanced over to make sure she was alright and then nodded a little, "We'll see what happens. Hopefully it will work."
    Kianna returned his kiss and smiled brightly, "It's the perfect time of year for it too. Spring; it will benefit us this year.. And soon." she leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Do you know who you'll send?"

"I know it will, Love. We're due for more good news right about now." Tarina stood to go to their room and get the baby cleaned up once she was done eating. "Call for me if you need anything. She's falling asleep."
    Kailoto nodded, and without hesitation knew who was going. "Davros and 3 of his captains. That should more than do it to get him started. I'll probably send another 100 infantry, archery and horseback riders so they have plenty of coverage. It will help keep our food consumption down so we can store more for an emergency." His blood boiled a little to this day when he said Davros's name, but he had forgiven the man more or less.

Jericho nodded a little, "I want you to go rest. I know you were up with her rather late last night." He smiled, "But if I think of anything I'll come find you."
    Kianna smiled, "That is a very good idea. Are you going to send a messenger with your response, or just send the men?" She chuckled, "I think if you just send the men it may seem a bit like an attack at first.. Plus it could delay the farmers." She shook her head, "I'll get out of your way." Then she grinned a bit, "I think I need to practice being as quiet as a mouse... Will I see you for dinner?"

Tarina grinned and nodded her head. "As you wish, My King" she went to their room to take care of Lena and herself.
    He started to laugh a bit, shaking his head. "I'll send a note, letting him know the men are on their way, but the men will only be a day behind the messenger. Throw him a little curve ball." Kailoto approached her to give her a kiss and speak with her privately for a quick moment. "Hopefully... I'll see you after dinner as well?" He started to smirk a little. He knew Kianna was starting to get excited for a child and he was more than willing to do his part as often as she would let him.

Jericho watched her leave and then got to work deciding who he would send, as well as what food goods he would send.
    Her smile got a little bigger and she nodded, "I would like that." She said softly, chuckling at his smirk. She placed her hand briefly on his side before stepping back and bowing her head, "I'll let you gentlemen get to work."

He eyed her up and down as she walked away, then retreated to the room quickly when the advisor cleared his throat to get his attention back. "Let's get to planning these deliveries, huh?" Kailoto and the advisor took an hour to plan the delivery of men, as well as writing the letter to send it off to Jericho. He found his way to the dining hall when he heard the cooks were about done prepping dinner. He let off a yawn and went down to take his seat.

Kianna smiled a little and went off to get ready; making sure her hair was in place and her dress wasn't in too bad of shape. She walked into the dinning hall just after Kailoto had settled in. She walked over to the table and sat down, "Everything go well?"

"You look great, Kianna... And yes it did! Messenger is already on his way out to deliver the letter. The men are being staged for departure after they eat." Kailoto walked up to her and pulled her chair out for her.

She smiled and smoothed out her skirt out of nervous habit. "Thank you.." She sat down and waited for him to sit next to her, turning in her chair to face him more head on. "I'm glad to hear it. I wasn't expecting any troubles, but you can never be too cautious."

Tarina was upstairs napping with the baby. The poor thing was up with colic half the night, but she took the child to the healer shortly after getting cleaned up and was able to resolve it.
    He smiled, starting on the meal brought before them. "You couldn't be more right." Taking a sip of his drink. "If this goes well, we've avoided a war we can NOT afford to be part of... especially if he ends up with my men teaching his own." Kailoto chuckled, more out of nervous speculation that humor. He tapped his foot in an awkward silence for a moment and looked back at his wife. "Have you heard the news from Jericho and Tarina, about their little princess?"

Kianna put a hand on his arm, "I'm sure that won't happen. By the time his men are enough, and trained to attempt to win against your armies we'll be too close." She said, though she wasn't sure of that either. When he asked about the new princess she nodded, "I've heard from Tarina since the baby was born. Though not often." She chuckled softly, "She would be around six months now? And has green eyes. They named her Leana." She gave a soft sigh because she wanted one of her own now.
    Jericho was holding off for a little while before having dinner. He didn't want it to seem like he couldn't wait for the mother of his child. While he was waiting to hear if she was awake and if she wanted dinner in the dining hall or in their room he was working with the farmers, talking about the different climate in Kairion and what seeds to send. If they were having a hard time growing food then it meant they most likely didn't have many seeds saved. He was also discussing if there was anything else they could send, young trees and bushes that could be transplanted if done right.

He watched the expression on her face change ever so slightly, which made him chuckle a little bit as he went back to his food. Kailoto was counting the days until she announces a pregnancy, but he wouldn't let her know that directly until it happened. "Our day is coming! There's going to he a little Prince or Princess of our own to spoil and probably even marry little Leana... if Jericho was to choose our son, when he comes." He was quiet as he thought it over in his head. "Teach the kid to be the best archer in all of Kairion! A grin swept over him as he leaned over to kiss her on the lips
   Tarina peeked her eyes open eventually and saw that the sun was starting to go down. She muttered to herself and asked a maid to take care of their daughter, so she could join her husband for dinner. Once she made it downstairs, she curtsied and hurried to her seat. "I'm sorry! Little lady had me a little more tired than I expected..."

Kianna thought about that. It was an excellent way to ensure peace between them. An arranged marriage. It had been done before, where the marriage was decided before the children were very old, in their case before she'd even had a child herself. She looked at her husband and smiled when he mentioned archery. She returned his kiss, placing a hand on his cheek. "The best little archer. I like it." She chuckled softly.
   Jericho looked up from his plans and smiled brightly, "I thought she may have. No need to apologize." He waved to a maid to bring in their food. "I didn't want to wake you before you were ready."

"Good! Because I won't let a daughter wield a sword." He grinned, biting at her lip gently. "Not until I know she doesn't hate me!"
   She bit her lip gently, smiling behind it a bit. "You don't have be so forgiving either! We have a schedule and I should try to help you keep it." Tarina got comfortable with a sigh.

She giggled softly, "Now now. Our daughter won't hate you." She kissed him one more time before pulling back to eat some of her dinner.
   He smiled, "We do, Leana doesn't." He leaned over to her, taking one of her hands, "Are you feeling alright though?"

Kailoto pulled his chair in closer and polished off his drink. He may have planned a little something for Kianna later that night. "Will you be going to your own room tonight?"
   Tarina nodded, clasping his hand gently. "I'm fine! Maybe a little tired because I don't want the maids raising our daughter; so I get up when she cries to feed and change her. The wet nurses look like they could choke a cow with their chests!" She laughed.

Kianna looked at him and smiled softly, "Only if that's where my King wants to have me." She said quietly as she turned into him again, running her foot against his leg lightly as she crossed her eyes.
   Jericho laughed at her comment. He had loosened up a bit since they were first married. He shook his head and leaned in, kissing her hand. "You do whatever you feel is best. THough I may send all but one of the wet nurses to somewhere they can be used."

A servant had reached over to top off his drink when he started to chuckle, then noticed the look of her face. He stopped when he felt the tip of her toe grazing him. His brow went up with a little smirk. "Trying to.... retire early, My Queen?"
    "That would make me feel better actually, thank you." With a grin, she kissed him again as she turned to her food. "I love how much you have relaxed around me... It helps me stay comfortable around you."

She leaned back with a coy smile, "Not before dessert My Lord... I do love chocolate."
    Jericho smiled a little into the kiss and then turned his attention to his dinner. He frowned a bit, "Did I make you that uncomfortable in the beginning?" He had a feeling it would a yes. Which he understood. When they'd been married it was just after he became a 'true' man of faith. A power measure by one of his advisors. He'd relaxed because of her. With her at his side he'd been able to see the flaws in being so pious. It alienated quite a few of his people who weren't ready to give up their God of the Sea and Moon Goddess.

Kailoto reached down and rested her foot in his lap. He removed her shoe and started to massage it gently. "I could... bring it to the room? There may be a surprise waiting for you in there anyway."
    Nervousness set in out of habit before she could find an answer. "I couldn't get comfortable at first because of your... faith, yes. Uh..." Tarina laughed nervously. "You were taught to be so old fashioned that I was scared to speak out of turn."

Kianna bit her lip lightly when he pulled her foot into his lap. It wasn't something she was expecting from him, neither was she expecting a planned surprise. She smiled and nodded, "We could take it to the room.. I do like surprises too."
    He sighed and nodded a little, "I was... Influenced to be strict in my faith.. To make up for so much sin.." He said, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "I annoyed myself so much sometimes."

"Good, because that's exactly what you're going to get." Kailoto gave her foot a few more moments of attention before he put the shoe back on it and set it down. "Let's go..." He stood and offered her his hand.
    She laughed lightly, nodding her head again as she listened. "Well, I'm no advisor but: Taking the Pious Man Route wasn't all that necessary. Besides, what sins could YOU have committed that weren't out of the necessities as king?"

Kianna smiled a little, finishing off her wine before he stood. She took his hand. "I'm rather excited now." She said as she walked with him towards his room.
    "Other than abandoning my duties, I was often drunk or drinking, gambling and sleeping around." Jericho shrugged, then shifted uncomfortably. "I don't like reflecting on it all, but particularly how I used women.."

Kailoto led her to the bedroom, where He had already had some chocolates brought in for Kianna. He put his hands over her eyes once he was behind her and pushed the door open slowly. "Think you're ready for this?" The grin on his face grew a little wider.
    If anyone could understand meaningless sex, it was Tarina and the relationships she maintained while in Kairion. She nodded her head as she smiled a little more. "I won't ask you to repeat it all. But you know where I would have ended up if you hadn't agreed to marry me"

Kianna chuckled softly when he put his hands over her eyes. "Yes I'm sure." She said, though she didn't know what to expect
     Jericho smiled a little, "Married to a less boring man?" He smiled a bit, "I don't like thinking about not being married to you."

He pushed her gently through the door and waited until she was in the middle of the room before dropping his hands slowly.
The room was lit with red, purple and black candles. There was rose pedals scattered all over the bed with a small basket of chocolates on the middle of the mattress. Kailoto had it set up so that there was even some massage oils on the nightstand.
     She rolled her eyes with a one sided smile. "I'd be married to a man who would be sleeping around behind my back and treating me like dirt..." Tarina kissed him again, stroking his cheek lightly. "I can't imagine having never met you now"

Kianna gasped, "Oh!" She looked around and finally turned to him, smiling brightly. "This is wonderful. "She leaned up and kissed him.
   Jericho smiled lightly."I'm glad you're with me."

"Happy anniversary, Kianna." He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her again before he let go and checked the scent of one of the oils, to make sure it was one he remembered his wife enjoyed. "We're finally on the way to becoming a good couple, so I thought I would treat you to a few little somethings." His smile grew wide again.
   "And I, you... i love you, Jericho." She bit get lip, smiling

Kianna smiled and looked around the room and chewed on her lip. "I didn't want to make a big fuss of it." She said softly, "You've been so stressed and so busy that I wasn't going to point it out.. Drop hints or anything like that." She walked over to him and hugged him, "Thank you." She whispered.
    He leaned over and gave her a soft kiss. "I love you too Tarina."

Kailoto shrugged before she pulled him in to the hug, then rested both hands on the small of her back; Kailoto kissed the side of her neck lightly. "I know you're as stressed as I am about the child situation and the nonsense with Jericho. But with that over, I figured we needed a break." He smiled at her. "take some time for us to be husband and wife for an evening."
    Tarina bit his lip lightly before breaking the kiss, then kissed him again

She wrapped her arms around him, running her fingers lightly over the nape of his neck. "It's amazing." Her smile turned a little coy, "Although... Maybe we can start acting like husband and wife... Almost every night." She bit her lip lightly. She didn't mean the candles and chocolate..
   Jericho smirked a little after the second kiss. "You keep kissing like that and we might end up trying for baby number two." He joked, his voice only loud enough for her to hear.

His head fell back ever so slightly when she traced his neck. "Every night or no deal!" Stealing another kiss from her, then giving a slight smirk. "My cock would thank you." Kailoto gave a cute wink before stepping back to lead her towards the bed.
    A giggle escaped her when he mentioned baby number two; now taking her hand to massage his leg gently. "You wouldn't mind having children that close in age?"

Kianna bit her lip more but smiled, nodding, "Every night then." She blushed a little at that thought before walking with him towards the bed. She kicked off her shoes under the bed so they would stay out of the way.
   Jericho grinned a little, "Not at all, as long as you think you could handle it."

Kailoto let her get comfortable, while he took off everything but his underpants. He looked back at kianna as he put a little massage oil on his hands. Once she was seated on the bed, he climbed onto the bed and sat behind her on his knees. Massagingbher shoulders gently. "Help yourself to that basket..."
    "I can handle anything you give me." She whispered right in his ear, then stood up slowly, leaning in towards him to show off her cleavage

Kianna smiled a little, grabbing a chocolate before relaxing into his hands. "You're spoiling me.." She chuckled softly, wondering how she would top this for their next anniversary.. Maybe she wouldn't, but she could surprise him for his birthday.. Or just because.
    He looked and growled softly, "You little minx." He chuckled, pushing back in his chair before gently pulling her into his lap.

"No... I'm treating you the way I should have been from day one; instead of acting like the bastard I was." He moved down to her spine, pressing his fingers against her skin in tight circles. "You've earned this..." kailoto leaned in and kissed her neck. "Tonight is all about you."
    "Ah!" Tarina laughed and wrapped herself around his body, sitting in his lap with her legs on either side of him. "Oh, did I do something to get you aroused, your Majesty?"

Kianna smiled a little, "Well, you're making up for it. So you can stop cursing yourself for it.." She looked at him over her shoulder, "I wasn't exactly a gem either." She said softly.
    He rested his hands on her hips and smirked. He leaned in, kissing her neck lightly, "Maybe it was the view... Or the nip..." He leaned back and grinned up at her, "Or maybe I always am around you."

"Well In spite of your one mistake to my many, I'll be making up for it for the rest of my life." Kailoto stopped his hands for a moment and leaned in to kiss her. "So get used to it!" He grinned against her lips once they met
     Her fingers snaked their way into his hair, hips bucking against him as he kissed her neck. "There's plenty more to see if you want to... take a peek?" Tarina chuckled and let her head fall back a bit.

Kianna giggled softly against his lips, "I can look forward to that." She kissed him and chuckled.
    Jericho groaned softly and chuckled. He kissed down her neck to her chest while his hands ran up her side.

"Good..." he got distracted and started kissing her neck gently.
     Tarina groaned softly, pushing down on his lap while rocking her hips. She peeked her eyes open and looked around. "Maybe you should shoo everyone near by out of here...?"

Kianna smiled a little and tilted her head to the side. She let the chocolate melt in her mouth.
     He pulled back and looked around. There weren't any servants that he could see. But he knew there was at least one guard nearby. "Clear the area," He barked, chuckling softly when there wasa very soft 'yes sir' from outside of the dining hall.

The King leaned back and reached for the oil again. This time he would start up her sides slowly.
    She jumped, then laughed softly and stood to get her underwear out of the way. "Out here in the open ey? Adventurous!" She made sure she was good to go and got back in his lap.

She shivered a little, goosebumps exploding over her skin where he touched. Kianna licked her fingers clean of the melted chocolate.
    Jericho chuckled softly, "New places make it more exciting right?" He smiled and leaned up, kissing her.

His hands gently kneaded her hips, then he dragged them up slowly, rocking each one back and forth at the same pace. Both hands stopped just under her bustline; Kailoto debated about whether or not he should go for it, before moving to her shoulders again. "I guess I'll be good, for now."
    She returned the kiss passionately, wiggling to strattle him better. "In deed it does. Exciting and sexy, seeing you be so bold." Tarina grinned again, finding her way to his pants to get them open

His wife chuckled softly, she wouldn't have stopped him if he'd kept going. She wasn't going to stop him from being good either. She sighed in content, stress leaving her muscles.
    He smiled a little, helping her with his pants, "I'm just glad you didn't smack me.."

Kailoto froze and looked at the back of her head a moment, the wrapped his arms around her and held her against his chest. "Laughing at me for not grabbing your boobs?" He smirked and pressed his lips against her shoulder.
    Tarina could only smile, seeing his manhood start to emerge from his clothes. "I'm not going to tell you know, unless you try to fuck me in the middle of town." She started stroking him slowly to make sure he was as hard as she wanted him.

    She leaned in for a kiss, chuckling again. "Let's save some of the spontaniety for the day we stsrt to get boring..." the queen kisses him on the lips and lets go of his shaft to line him up again her opening.

Kianna gasped and closed her eyes. She bit her lip lightly, knowing that her breathing was already a little uneven. She reached a hand back, brushing her fingers over his cheek.
    Jericho chuckled softly, "Fair enough." He said softly and then he deepened the kiss she started. Once she was lined up he bucked his hips up a little. It had been a while for them.

Five months passed, spring turned into summer, with summer slowly turning into fall. That was when Kianna and Kailoto were traveling to the Isle of Skye. Their summer harvest had been the best it had been in years; the relationship between the Kings had improved to the point they wanted to get a written contract in place.

Kianna took a deep breath and gave a sigh of relief. Traveling via ship was much faster, but she hadn't taken to the sea very well. Finally, now in the early morning she was feeling better. Or at least she hoped so, it had been two months since she'd had her cycle. But if she'd told him before they left he would have never allowed her to come. She wanted to though.      Jericho was up early, watching the horizon as the sun began to rise. He was still a little nervous about everything. He couldn't figure out the missing piece to the contract he wanted to place in front of Kailoto. There had to be something that would make it firm, make it something that couldn't be easily broken.

Kailoto was below deck in the cabin, looking over the list of contract proposals he had written down. Much Like Jericho, he knew their initial agreement was good; Davros and 2 other soldiers had reported that the isle was nearly covered in large and healthy crop of a wide variety. This king was particularly intrigued by arranging their children's weddings. Uniting their kingdoms was imperitive to the survival of Kairion. Once he was done looking at the notes for the 20th time, he went above deck and wrapped a gentle arm around Kianna. He turned her head gently and smiled before giving her a kiss. "How is my Queen this morning?"
      Tarina had spent the last 4 of the past 5 months pregnant as well. She had woken up before the sun to get her morning sickness out of the way, then picked up young Leana to get her fed. She pat the child's bottom easily as she fed, humming a soft tune she learned from the only wet nurse they still had on staff

Kianna smiled a little, "I'm feeling much better. I've finally found my sea legs!" She giggled softly, "And on the day we're going to be back on land." She gave him another kiss. "I almost wish we could do some more traveling so I can actually enjoy it."
      The king sighed heavily before standing up and stepped outside on the balcony, leaning against the rail. He chewed on his lip lightly, still wondering if two years could have really made a difference. Honestly he couldn't remember what had started their fight years ago.

He just laughed at her, knowing all too well what it was like to learn to walk on a boat for the first few months he was exposed to it. Kailoto returned every kiss, and waited for them to dock the ship. "One of these days, we'll use a diplomatic visit as a vacation and travel for a few weeks..."
     When she was done with the baby, she let the maid take over so she could go be with Jericho. When she found him, she smiled and rested her hand on his shoulder. "Something on your mind, my king?"

"A vacation huh? That would be nice actually." She smiled more, biting her lip lightly, "Although we're only here to make sure a contract for peace is arranged I'd like to make this a impromptu vacation. Maybe spend some time looking around? Spending time on the beach?"
     Jericho looked at his wife and smiled a little, before sighing. He looked back out to the sea and nodded, "I was just thinking about the fight that caused some division between us. I don't remember exactly how it started. I was hoping to avoid it again."

Kailoto nodded his head in agreement. A break from the kingdom always sounded good, even if it was all of the sudden. "I suppose that works! It will give us a chance to get better acquainted with the culture here and continue to build a relationship with Jericho..." He saw the ship was about to dock, so he braced himself on the railing and waited for the OK to get off the ship.
     Tarina nodded, smiling as she leaned in to kiss his cheek. "You're just a couple of hot headed Kings. Words were said that got thrown out of context... The important thing is; the relationship between us is being mended"

Kianna braced herself as well, but still ended up bumping into him a little by stepping a moment too soon. "Sorry dear." She smiled and stepped back, smoothing out his shirt once she was steady again.
     He nodded, smiling a little, "I should hope it's being mended. It only took us two and a half years.." He shook his head and smiled, "I just hope we can make a contract that lasts for generations.."

He chuckled at her and helped keep her upright. "Don't worry about it, land lubber." Kissing her on the cheek. The king led the way off the boat and waited for the last of their escort to approach before going towards the castle.
    She leaned in to give him a gentle kiss before leaning away. "Better late than... oh my." Tarina took off down the hall towards the bathroom to deal with another bout of morning sickness.

She followed her husband off the boat, feeling a little rise in her nausea. It was over after a moment, something she was grateful for. She looked around at the docks, there were several fishermen bringing in their catch, a small market just outside of the docks where people were selling or trading their items. She was enjoying it so much she didn't notice the approaching carriage until her young cousin gave her a gentle nudge.
    Jericho watched her run to the bathroom and cringed a little. As grateful as he was for a second child, he felt a little bad. Her morning sickness seemed worse this time.

Kailoto was doing the same; He was admiring the admiring the way the town was running! There was something awe-inspiring about the eb and flow of the markets. He cleared his throat and refocused when the carriage showed up. "Wow..."
    She returned a few minutes later and apologized. "Can't believe how much more nauseated I've been! Shouldn't our guests be here soon?"

Kianna nodded and smiled, "I love how much life it here.." She said and stepped into the carriage when the door was opened. She got settled and smoothed out her dress a bit. She smiled a little at husband, "I'm so excited to see the farms he was talking about."

He nodded his head, still taking in the scenery as they rode by it all. "Yeah; I hope it's as awesome as it looks in my mind! Jericho spoke rather highly of it..." Kailoto took her hand and rested them on her thigh

She smiled a little, "It sounds rather intriguing.. Did the soldiers write of the gardens at all?" She chuckled softly, "I suppose only that the are indeed there."
    Jericho took her hand, "Don't worry my love. And yes, they should be here soon. I've arranged for breakfast to be ready when they arrive, either with us in the courtyard or in their room if they need rest.

Kailoto laughed, having forgot to share the last letter with her. "Yes, 2 of the soldiers said the gardens were huge and rather healthy looking!" The carriage was stowing to a stop.
    She nodded her head and stretched out a bit, rubbing her belly. "You remembered to ask for plain toast and a half a grapefruit for me, right?" That was her latest craving.

Kianna nodded, "Oh good. It may be the start of fall, but it doesn't seem like it here.. The farmers he send earlier this year though seem fairly optimistic about our area though.."
    "I did, and three different types of tea. Since I know what you like changes pretty often." Jericho chuckled softly. He looked out when he heard a trumpet announcing their guests arrival.

"That's all we can hope for. Seems these Island climates hold on to more favorable seasons a bit longer."
    Tarina went to say thank you, but stopped when she heard the horns. "Alright! Well let's go say hi, My King." She turned to leave the room and go receive their guests.

She nodded a little and smiled, "That's what I understand." When the carriage came to a stop she waited for him to step out and then followed him.
  Davros was waiting for them. He smiled a little and bowed to them, "My Lord, my lady."
     Jericho nodded and followed her down to the front steps of the castle.

Kailoto took Kianna's hand and escorted her forward, giving a kind smile to Davros. "Thank you, Davros." He held no ill will towards the guy anymore, but he was still weary. "Things are going wel, i take it?"
    She took his arm and walked at his pace, focusing on something other than her stomach

She looked up at the castle, smiling a little. It was so bright, the stones nearly perfect white with teal tile accents. She looked to Davros and nodded to him.
  Davros smiled a little and nodded, "Yes, everything has been going well. If it wasn't for training everyday I think I would be fat.."
     Jericho looked at her, "My love, are you alright?"

Kailoto chuckled and looked around again. "If I were to get fat anywhere, i would probably want to be on an island. I think you might still be gaining weight, Davros!" He jabbed him in the shoulder lightly then nodded to Jericho
    She nodded, giving a sigh. "The baby is pushing forward a bit, I'm okay."

Davros chuckled, "That may be true..." He admitted.
   Jericho nodded a little, wishing he could comfort her someway. He looked to Kailoto and nodded, "Welcome My King, to the Isle."

"Thank you, My Lord!" He reached his hand out for a hand shake. "How is everything going amd..." he bowed to Tarina. "Congratulations on baby number 2!"
   She smiled kindly and bowed. "Thank you"

Jericho smiled a little, "Things have been going well yes." He looked to Kianna, his smile a little broader. "It is a pleasure to see you again My Lady."
   "It's very good to see you both. Your home is beautiful." Kianna said and smiled brightly

"Good! Let's get inside, shall we? I think we need to get that poor Queen of yours off her feet!"
    Tarina chuckled, holding Jericho's hand. "Sounds like a plan!"

He nodded and chuckled softly, "Yes. Are you hungry? I have breakfast prepared. We can eat together, but if you are too tired I can have it sent to you in your room." He turned and led the way inside. 

He looked at Kianna, tilting his head with a bit of a smile. "What do you think, My queen: Keep them company?"

"I would love to catch up a little before retiring to our room. I'm a little hungry finally."
   "Sea sick My Lady?" Jericho asked as they walked.

Kailoto nodded his head. "Let's go have a meal then! This one has given our cooks a bit of a run for their money. They cook and she hardly eats."
   She looked at them, wondering if she was alright as well

Kianna nodded and looked at her hands for a brief moment, "Yes, unfortunately I didn't take to the sea very well. I'm hoping our journey home will be easier."

"Don't worry... the trip back is easier when you know what to expect. I promise." He pat her hand gently as they made themselves at home inside.
   Tarina took a seat at the table and looked over the food she had in front of her. "Okay... what does the baby want to eat?" She was craving spicy all-the-sudden, so she grabbed her dry toast, picked up a bit of cheese and asked the servant to bring her a pepper.

She smiled a little and nodded, "I hope so." She sat at the table next to her husband and looked at the food in front of them, hoping to find something appealing.
   Jericho nodded a little, "Sea sickness is never fun, but it is common for the first voyage."

Kailoto followed suit with Tarina a bit. he picked up some toast and put a weird pink jelly on it. "What on earth have you made here?" He took a bite and recognized it right away. "I didn't know you grew dragon fruit out here! I haven't tasted his since I was a child..."
   She took the pepper and cut it so that it was in slices on her toast and cheese and started to eat. She picked up a cup of green tea and honey and nearly gagged. Pink flooded her cheeks. "Sorry... This particular child is rather picky."

Jericho nodded, "It does decently here! I got tired of the high cost of importing it." He chuckled softly, "We have to take special care in the winter, since it can sometimes get cold here and damage the plant."
    Kianna smiled a little, "That must be rather difficult." She smiled, "I'm surprised it doesn't smell more like fish. I suppose that's something that's made you feel ill." She didn't mention that she was incredibly grateful for it. Part of how ill she'd felt was the smell of the fish all around her. She wondered if she had gotten used it though.

"Well I would love to buy some for the trip home. Do they travel well?" He smiled at the ladies momentarily before addressing Jericho again. "How does the military fare? I trust Davros and his men are teaching them well?"
    Tarina chuckled lightly and drank some oolong and molasses. "It's not so bad, really. You learn quickly to avoid certain triggers if you can help it."

"I'd be happy to send some with you. It travels well as long as it's packed correctly." He fixed hi plate and chuckled, "Your men are practically miracle workers. What little I have they've trained quite well." He shrugged, "Not all farmers and fishermen are cut out to be soldiers thought."
    She smiled and nodded, taking a little bit of various foods to see what she could eat. The eggs had to strong a smell for her, almost putting her off of her food.

Kailoto smiled at him. "Thank you! I remember what it was like trying to train the ones we had..." He shook his head and rubbed his temple. "A bloody nightmare, literally." He took a couple bites of food, then cleared his throat. "I have planned to have about 600 more men sent out... but there is another matter we should discuss later."
    The Queen ate quietly for a moment, then stopped, biting her lip and closing her eyes to make sure she wasn't still nauseated.

"That's quite a few men, do you know about a war I don't?" Jericho grinned and then chuckled, only joking around. He nodded, "I'd be glad to talk. Perhaps after some rest you can come find me? Or we can do a tour of the gardens first?"
    Kianna ate toast with jam on it, having four slices of toast because she was so hungry now.

He laughed, leaning back as he finished his drink. "If I did, I wouldn't be giving you men!" Joking back. He glanced at Kianna again then nodded. "I think a quick tour would be nice. I have to get used to walking on stable land anyway."
     Tarina finished what she had then leaned towards Kianna. "So, how are things? Any children you forgot to write about?" She giggled.

Jericho laughed at that and nodded, "I'd be happy to take you around; right after breakfast is when I usually go for a walk around anyway."
     Kianna smiled and shook her head, "No, no little prince or princess yet.. A couple times I thought." Her disappointment flashed in her eyes briefly and she shook her head, "Believe me, once I know for sure I'm pregnant I doubt anyone will be able to shut me up." She chuckled softly.

"Sounds great!" Kailoto stretched in his seat, then let off a sigh. "This is quite the place you have..."
     "Aw.." She reached over and held her hand for a moment. "I can't wait to hear the news! I know you'll be a good Queen Mother."

Jericho smiled a little and looked around, "Thank you. It's a lot of stairs though." He chuckled softly, pushing his almost empty plate away. "I can show you where the men stay on the way to the main gardens if you would like?"
    Kianna put a hand on hers and smiled, "Thank you. I understand stress can hinder pregnancy, maybe now that things are more stable it will happen."

He nodded his head and rose to his feet to go follow Jericho. "Lead the way! I look forward to taking this tour."
    Tarina nodded, smiling again. "I'm sure you'll be fine! I bet it happens sooner rather than later." She smiled and rubbed her stomach. "The first one will make you nervous as hell, I promise."

The King smiled, deciding not to interrupt their wives before leading the way out. "Those two have some catching up I think." He said softly as he lead the way out of the courtyard and down some stairs. The sun was shining down on them as they walked through the narrow walk way. It was slowly taking them downhill and around to the next shelf of the cliff the castle was built on. "This is the training area, there's access to the kitchen and one of the dining halls through there, built into the actual cliff a bit."
    She smiled and nodded, "I'm already nervous! The first time I thought I was pregnant I panicked, I have no idea how to be a mother." She chuckled, subconsciously placing a hand on her own stomach.

"That they do!" He chuckled softly. "So... how is the princess doing? I'm sure the little critter is growing like a weed by now." Kailoto was jealous. Although he would rather have a son, he was jealous that Jericho had a daughter and another child on the way. "Your training area has a lot of potential! Very spacious..." He smiled as he looked around this part of the compound. "The cliff adds a certain element of excitement."
   She bit her lip and watched her hand. "Well, it comes naturally. I freaked out too when I found out about Leana... and now this one!" She laughed. "Why don't we go somewhere a little more comfortable?"

Jericho smiled a little and nodded, "She is growing quickly. She'll be running around and causing problems soon." He looked around the area, "I'm glad you believe it has potential. The men stay here." He pointed to the wall towards the ocean, "It overhangs the cliff but we keep it in good condition. Looking out the windows in the bedrooms is a bit nerve wracking, if you look down it's just water."
    Kianna nodded, "That would be great. I'm sure you would like to get your feet up!"

Kailoto chuckled, nodding as he lookes around. "Still a spacious area! And I bet Young Leana will be a wonderful child." He stared back out over the barracks
    "You have no idea!" She stood and led her to her favorite room. "There's a room to the right that overlooks the gardens."

He smiled a little, "I'm sure. With her mother there to guide her." He started moving towards an archway, "This way to some of the gardens. They're a bit all over, but this is where we keep the dragon fruits and others like it."
    Kianna smiled and walked with her, "Are all of the gardens utilized only for food or do you have some flowers as well?"

He looked around happily, admiring the thriving plant life. "This is great..." he reached up and held one of the fruits when they got near the plants. "Plenty of places to explore!"
    Tarina chuckled lightly and shook her head. "There is a flower garden that i really like that has a patio. We'll go there if you like" she rubbed her stomach haphazardly

Jericho nodded a bit, "There are quite a few places." He looked around, "These are all foods I would be willing to trade to you at a good rate, they're all things I don't think could work up north where you are, but most of them travel well and it will add a bit of variety to your diets.
    "Oh no, this is fine." Kianna chuckled softly, "I gave up my garden since it has the perfect conditions apparently." She chuckled and shook her head, "It is supposed to be where the berries are going, so I was happy to give it up for those." She looked to her and smiled, "I was only curious since I didn't see a lot of flowers on the way up here."

He nodded his head again, understanding that. "I'm definitely jealous of your understanding of agriculture. It was always something that alluded me." Kailoto chuckled, a bit embarrassed. "Uhm...." Clearing his throat. "There's something else that we should probably discuss. The exchange of goods is all well and much needed, but as far as unifying our countries go... when we have children..." He was biting his lip now. Having never been the one to voice these thoughts in the past with such ease.
   Tarina 'awed' at her, nodding her head. "Well at least the berries bloom gorgeous flowers for a couple weeks. and they always smelled so good to me!" She chuckled and took a seat, calling for some cider to be brought in. "I would be spending a lot more time by the beach if I didn't have access to these gardens."

Jericho smiled a bit, about to point out that he had almost no knowledge of warfare, at least not as much as Kailoto when he brought up unifying their kingdoms. At the word children it clicked in his brain, that missing piece he couldn't figure out. "Of course! A marriage contract. Our kingdoms would be related then. It is the strongest contract for peace there is.."
   "I think I would spend a lot of time at the beach." Kianna said and sat next to her, settling in. She was glad to really be able to relax now, maybe even put up her own feet too. Of course, if she relaxed too much she was worried she would fall asleep. "I imagine you'll have a lot of fun exploring the gardens and the beach with two little ones."

Kailoto nodded. "I know we don't have kids yet... But It was in my mind that, if you agreed, my first born son could marry your daughter. With the future being the cruel mistress she is, we'll have to hash that out later." He chuckled and kicked a pebble away.
    She started grinning, nodding as their drinks arrived. "I hope so. You never know how much you like being a mom until the challenge emerges. But I sound like a broken record!"

Jericho put a hand on his shoulder, "You'll have children soon. It took us years of trying... And then Tarina was all of a sudden pregnant again." He chuckled softly and then nodded, "We get the contract started though and amend it with the children's names later." He dropped his hand and stepped over to the wall and looked over the water, "It would be nice to join our kingdoms though, have that security.
    Kianna nodded and smiled, "I'm sure it comes with it's own challenges, just like being a wife and a Queen.." She chuckled and sipped her drink and sighed. "I just hope it happens soon... Some nights I wake up from a horrible dream that Kailoto divorces me and sends me to live all alone in some manor in the snow.."

he smiled, nodded his head in reassurance. "I can only hope to have my children so close! It's not been so easy being patient, as I'm sure you understand.... I think you know what you're talking about." Kailoto said it in a joking tone.
   Tarina groaned and nodded her head in accord. "You know all too well! I've had that same dream. When I first was married to Jericho, I thought for sure he was going to have me sent to live in my own home and consider my past sins!"

"It is hard to be patient... I wanted kids as soon as we were married." He chuckled, "Sometimes God has his own plans. I'm grateful though, that my daughter didn't arrive until I was a little more sure I wouldn't be drawn to war any time soon. Hopefully. At least not with someone I was sure I would lose." He looked at Kailoto, "Now there's less worry perhaps children will be on their way to you."
   Kianna smiled and nodded, "Gosh, it's a horrible dream.. It doesn't help that Lord Giddeon recently did so to his wife.." She shuddered and put her feet on the footstool. "You always believe it's just... A story your mother tells you.. And then it happens."

"Hopefully war will evade us both until the children are MUCH older. If not forever." He knew it wasn't terribly likely that they would never see war, whether it was another kingdom or otherwise.
   She nodded, adjusting in her seat to accommodate the baby better. "At least you were groomed to be a queen. My mother gave up on me after my 15th birthday."

Jericho nodded, "I hope that is the case..." He chuckled, "All the same I'd still like to buff up my army a bit." He half joked, "Come, I'll show you our largest orchard area and then the grain fields.. Well, ledges." He chuckled.
   She smiled and nodded, "I was.. I still don't know if I was all that prepared. I know how to make Kailoto looked good and generous so he can focus on other things instead of charity... Not that he isn't concerned, of course he is.. But his worry focuses in the numbers."

Kailoto laughed with him and followed the man through the rest of what he had to show him. "You know if the time comes and you need more men, we have more to spare."
   Tarina bit her lip and nodded. "Yes... you can say it around me; I remember what a bastard he was! I'm so surprised that he's come around like this!"

He walked around, away from the sea and towards the more usable space in the area. "That is good to know.. I'm glad you and I are going to be able to work out a treaty. There are a couple kingdoms I'm not sure of.."
  "He always cared.. In his way, but recently he's cared less about the numbers and more about the people.. It's no longer a matter of pure logic.." She smiled and shook her head, "I've even had him come with me a few times to hand out food.. We'll be investing the farmer's time into the land around the churches so they can feed the hungry with food they grow themselves."

He held out a hand to shake Jericho's. "I honestly wouldn't want it any other way!" Kailoto let off a soft sigh. "Such a great place you have..."
  She listened, awe-struck. Tarina was leaning in and giving her full focus. "Are you sure a witch didn't come in and swap him out? I mean... WOW!" 

Jericho shook his hand and smiled a little, "Thank you." He looked around at the area
  Kianna laughed and shook her head, "Well, the frequent trying to get pregnant might be helping.." She giggled and blushed a little.

Kailoto nodded. He was feeling good about the progress they were making. He took another glance around the area they stood in and scratched the back of his head. "Can we just switch?" He laughed and leaned against a wall.
  "Hey; practice is good!" She was blushing a bit as well. "I'm sure that's what has the King acting so much more kindly." Tarina finished her cider. "Not to say he just... hasn't grown up a little bit."

Jericho laughed, "I don't think I could handle your winters."
   She nodded, "He's done some of that too.. I think understanding how dire a situation we would be in if we went to war really made him think.. And mature a little."

He grinned, tilting his head to the side a bit. "They aren't so bad! When the hunting is good, there's plenty of furs to make coats and the like." Kailoto pat him on the back lightly. "I can't stand the heat anyway. Vacations are one thing; but to live here? I wouldn't last."
   Her smile grew a little more, rubbing the baby in her belly again before a maid brought Leana in. "What's the matter?"  the little girl was crying, so the maid explained that she thought the poor girl was teething. Tarina nodded, "Give her some cold fruit if we have any... That might help soothe those aching gums." She kissed the little girl on the cheek and smiled.

He chuckled and nodded, "You're visiting at the right time. It'll get pretty warm in the afternoon, but the evenings cool down nicely."
   Kianna watched her, smiling a little. She felt a wave of envy wash over her, but pushed it back. she set her drink aside and bit her lip. "Is there any chance I can? I can hold her?"

"Good! The seasons always seem so different compared to Kairion. It's like we're half way around the world or something." Kailoto looked up to watch some birds go by, something he didn't usually take time to enjoy back home.
   She looked at Kianna and smiled wider. "Of course you can!" He told the maid to take her over, then bring a chilled bowl of fruit in for the little girl. Leana was still fussing, but she stopped when she was given to the other Queen

Jericho nodded a little and smiled at him, "We're lucky in this area. We get the warm breeze from further south during the winter, keeps us a little warmer. Course, it heats up during the summers too."
   Kianna settled back with little Leana in her arms, "Hello little princess.." She brushed her fingers over the girl's cheeks lightly, "Poor thing."

Kailoto smiled; then looked back at the castle. "I can't imagine! You must save a fortune in clothing materials!" He looked around for a servant. "You won't happen to be ready for a drink, would you?"
   She rested quietly against Kianna's chest and cooed softly for a moment.
      The maid returned with the cold slices of fruit for the baby. She set the bowl down between Tarina and Kianna and left the room quietly.
   "It seems Leana likes you!" Tarina smiled.

Jericho nodded, "It's a blessing really." He nodded, "Actually yes, I am ready for a drink.. We can go to my study? Talk about the treaty? Unless you need a rest; in which case we can go to my study and drink and smoke some cigars?"
   She smiled nervously, "She's so tiny.. I can't imagine how little she was when she was first born.. I bet Jericho was terrified of breaking her." She chuckled, "Heck I am.." She smiled a little, "I can give her some fruit? Unless you'd like to?"

"FUck it; let's party!" He smirked a little. He said it in a playful manner, but wouldn't say no to a good time to celebrate their new agreements.
   "She was about as heavy as a yorkie; about 6 1/2 pounds. By all means! She loves fruit, go ahead." Tarina laughed softly. "He still holds her like she's made of glass. It's the sweetest thing."

Jericho laughed softly, "Well sounds like a good time to me." He walked up the nearest stairs, leading him to his study.
   Kianna chuckled softly and nodded, "I can see that. He seems like he's rather careful." She leaned forward carefully, taking a piece of fruit and offered it to Leana.

Kailoto followed closely with a little more pep in his step. "Will... the ladies be preoccupied enough? I imagine there's enough to do with the kid and the village?"
   Tarina watched as Leana opened her mouth for the piece of fruit. She put her gummy jaw down on it firmly and started cooing again.
     "Jericho's very careful." She continued to watch the two of them. "There's never a dull moment, having him as a father and husband. If anything, once there's a baby in your life, the sex gets a little more... I don't know; Exciting? You're always trying to keep your relationship the same between diapers and feedings."

Jericho nodded a little, "They'll be preoccupied.. Leana is teething and usually Tarina needs to take a nap.. Your wife seemed a little tired as well; after a couple days of sea sickness I'm sure she can rest.."
   Kianna watched her and smiled a little, then looked at her, "I can imagine that.." She chuckled, "Is that how baby number two happened so soon?" She teased a little.

"She's definitely seemed a bit worn by the journey. I think our stay here will help her find her strength to travel more." He smiled and stepped into the room once they arrived. "Teething baby huh? Sounds stressful!"
   Tarina blushed and nodded her head, tracing the lip of her cup. "I think you already know the answer to that." She started to grin. "If memory serves, we weren't even in our bedroom when I conceived this one."

Jericho closed the door behind them and then walked to the bookshelves. He poured them both a drink and pulled out his selection of tobacco.
   Her brows went up and she chuckled softly. "Kailoto and I have moved it from the bedroom only once.. Though I imagine we will again if he has any say." She giggled softly.

Kailoto went ahead and made himself comfortable. He rested against the desk lazily after accepted his drink, then looked over the tobacco he kept on hand. "You grow these as well? Quite the variety, compared to what gets shipped to Kairion" He smiled as he looked it over. Tobacco was something he didn't indulge in too often because of the cost.
   She blushed and giggled softly. "The more adventurous, the more likely you'll get pregnant. I'm almost convinced of it!" I think Leana may have been conceived in the bath or the study... I can't remember. We were just doing it wherever to get his advisors off our backs."

"It does alright.. Some varieties more than others. I'm lucky that I have a cousin married to a man further south, they grow it and she sends it to me as a gift each year. The crops we get vary year to year.. We're working on more cold resistant varieties just because of our cold snaps now and then, completely ruined one field last year."
   Kianna sighed, nodding, "I had to yell at Kailoto's advisors after the second false alarm.. I blamed them and said they were stressing me out so much that my body wouldn't allow a pregnancy to term.." She shook her head, "I don't know if it's true, but since most animals won't stay pregnant if something is stressful in their environment I guess it made sense to them.."

he picked up a smooth, southern blend and looked it over, then gave it a quick smell. Kailoto smiled a little. "My father was a big cigar aficionado. It's good they get a variety! Wouldn't want soil or the environment to affect your crop, right?" He hadn't learned much about farming, but he knew there were some things you just don't do, like plant the same crop on the same patch of land every year..
   "Oh, no I agree! Stress will cause you to lose a child." She bit her lip. "Jericho doesn't know this, so don't say anything to him. I lost one before Leana." She sighed. "Probably only 3 or 4 months, they said. I hadn't realized it yet, so I wasn't upset with the loss. I know Jericho would have been though."

Jericho nodded a little, "It'll drain all the nutrients out of the soil. Cover crops help with that, so do fertilizers.." He chuckled softly, "I could talk about it all day, but it's not very entertaining. I sent the farmers with a good cover crop for you guys though, peas. It'll provide you with food while making the soil better at the same time."
   Kianna nodded, frowning, "I'm sorry to hear that.. I keep getting too excited that it's finally happened.. I've gotten to three months late before and then.. I start my cycle again.." She sighed, "I may not tell him until the baby is out.. Just to be on the positive side." She half joked. Instead of letting that bring her down she focused on the baby in her arms, "You sure are beautiful. Gonna steal hearts." She cooed at the baby

Kailoto was impressed. It was going to be good to have a farmer's kingdom on his side. Something he couldn't seem to get his hands on... neither could his father for whatever reason. "That's going to be great. You have no idea what kind of peace that's going to bring to our lands."
    Tarina nodded her head. She could tell Kianna was awaiting a child and it made her both happy and a bit sad. "You're stressing yourself out, it sounds like. I couldn't imagine going through that several times!" She sighed, then watched Leana smile.
The baby laughed and waved her arms happily at the Queen's cooing.

Jericho smiled a little, "I'm glad. I well remember when we were starving.." He took a seat finally and sighed, "I hope to leave the kingdom in a better place than my father had when he died.."
   Kianna sighed and nodded, "I've put that on Kailoto too.. I feel so guilty.." She shook her head and then smiled at Leana again, "Oh you're just the most amazing thing I've felt in my arms." She said.

"That is my mission as well. Things were not left the way a King should leave a kingdom, but my father was ripped from this world. I had to pick up the pieces of a shambled puzzle he was still putting together. There's nothing more heartwarming than to see a kingdom of tens of thousands hang on your every word. Knowing you're just barely a man. Knowing that they depend on you to keep things from getting any worse!"  Kailoto let off a sigh and finished his drink. "Made me a shitty person to be around. Even before I was married to Kianna..."
   She watched her with the baby, chuckling a bit. "Kailoto used to deserve so much worse! So don't be sorry. Your child will come when you two least expect it; or right as you've planned it and you will be one hell of a mother!" Tarina chuckles as Leana starts to nod off in Kianna's arms. "She loves to be held. My maids whine all the time because I coddle her a little bit too much."

Jericho nodded a bit, "It's a lot of pressure, knowing you'll be King. It's even harder when things aren't going well even before you take over. I wasn't prepared either.. I was never given the training a future King would be. An oversight by my father. We didn't get along though so I don't think I would have done much listening anyway."
     Kianna smiled a little, nodding, "I have a feeling I'll be the exact same way. I don't think I'll ever want to put my babies down."

Kailoto nodded. "You know; it's nice hearing that we're a lot more alike that I imagined... I don't think things could be going anymore smoothly." He leaned over for another drink and offered to clink his glass against Jericho's
     "You wont be able to help yourself! They're just so cute" She looked at her daughter and smiled.

Jericho filled up their glaces and then tapped his against Kailoto's "No they couldn't be. To things going smoothly." He said before sipping his drink.
     Kianna smiled a little, "Would you like her back now?"

"Smooth as polished stone." He grinned and took a drink. "What would the King like to do now?" HE smiled again.
     Tarina leaned in slowly, holding her arms out. "Don't mind if I do!" She smiled down at the baby and rocked her gently a moment. 

Jericho chuckled softly, "You know.. I have no idea.. We can go find our wives? Or we can talk over the treaty? There's always fishing or shooting." He chuckled softly.
     Kianna smiled a little as she handed over the baby. "I'm so sorry to do this... But I think I really must go lay down. I guess I'm not feeling as well as I hoped."

Kailoto thought it over, then gave a nod. "Let's talk treaty, I guess. As long as we aren't too drunk, we can go fishing after."
      Her brow furrowed a little, but she got settled with the baby. "You remember where your room is?" Getting up to walk with her
