2009-04-27 [Princess Zelda]: {I suppose you can. I mean, I didn't think you guys wanted to roleplay anymore. You're all so... 'busy'. ;)}

2009-04-28 [Princess Zelda]: {I told him to post, but as we all know... Doug likes to do everything on his own time. Eheheh..heh...
2009-04-28 [Princess Zelda]: {However, if someone does not post by the time I sign on in the morning, there will be casualties.}
2009-04-28 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Vareladaine smirked back at the knight and then looked forward, continuing away from him.
2009-04-28 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (there. Ha. A post.)
2009-04-28 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (:: rubs his temples:: I have no clue what is going on... >.<)

2009-04-28 [Synn]: {Well quite unfortunately from the sounds of our conversation on the yestermorrow, Daglas has seemed to lost a lot of interest in this RP, and sadly once this happens its almost nigh impossible to rekindle his interest, however if anyone has a hope of doing so.. or coercing him into if need be, it would be you Ms. MacLeoddddddd.
2009-04-28 [Princess Zelda]: {Well whaddaya know. I wake up, and not a single post has been made. I don't care how BORING this may be for any of you, it's the fact that you're doing something with ME,that counts. I'M IMPORTANT, RIGHT? I thought that this was going to be pretty badass once everyone made an effort.}
2009-04-28 [Princess Zelda]: Explaining herself to the stranger seemed pointless. What would that accomplish? She had just left her cousin to fight off the knight on her own, and then had taken off towards the creek. Anastasia was a fool.
After cracking her knuckles in frustration, she quickly scanned the area. "Trees..." those were what she needed to get back to the village. She quickly ran up the trunk of the nearest one, and grabbed onto the lowest branch. Tree-hopping would help keep her out of the sight of the knight's men. After one last glare at the stranger, she took off.
"Sorry I'm late," she whispered hoarsely. Vareladaine had been standing in the same spot the entire time Anastasia was gone, simply staring at the man before her. "I had some... difficulty finding my way back." Anastasia sighed, then took a few steps forward before removing her scarf and tossing it on the ground.
"I suppose I've already ruined my chances of seeing my family again... better not make things worse," she smirked at the knight, and then offered her wrists. She was exhausted and filthy, her attempts to rescue the village, pointless. "Go on, Daine, throw it all down." She knew that there was no point in trying to fight them all, they were all armored and on horseback. She and her cousin had beaten men bloody before, but now she knew that there was no chance.
2009-04-28 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (I did post)
2009-04-28 [Princess Zelda]: {Our posts don't match up. Just have your character stay back where she was in front of the knight, so that he can do something.}
2009-04-28 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick peered from behind the bush, attempting to see what outrage had interrupted his meditation. His eyes flashed, what appeared to be armed soldiers running around. His right temple throbbed slightly, he had been meditating in the forest for days on end... and being startled out of it was not something he was thrilled about. He drew his sword, standing up slightly, waiting to figure out whom the enemy was.
2009-04-28 [death how i long to embrace you]: Kellen did not like the fact that he was tackled to the ground by a stranger, so instead of letting the girl go he followed her staying not to far behind her to figure out what exactly was going on. After a while he saw two girls one who tackled him. He wondered what the knights where doing but did not like the fact that it was many against two so he pulled out his bow and was pondering about taking out a few of the nights. He had an arrow drawn and was waiting to see how this would play out and if he needed to interfere.
2009-04-28 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick's eyes flashed to the right, his eyes catching sight of a non-armored male with a bow. He set his sword down, and picked up a stick, not sure still whom he should be aiming this shot at.
2009-04-28 [death how i long to embrace you]: He stayed low while he waited he was sure that the knights where something that was not good. Though he was not sure yet as to whose side he should take. So he stayed there with an arrow pointed at the nearest knight.
2009-04-28 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick's eyes narrowed, holding the stick flat in his palm, facing it in the general direction of the commotion. 'Joy... both of these idiots look like they could be the antagonist...' He decided it was time to make a move... facing the stick towards the nearest soldier, he snapped his fingers, the stick setting ablaze and launching at the soldier.
2009-04-28 [Raver]: Gerhardt cautiously gripped his sword in his right hand while using his scabbard in his left like a parrying dagger, though obviously lengthier than such. The gypsy girl relinquished herself to the knight's law, but not easily fooled was he. All this resistance and now they surrender, he plotted and reasoned, making sure he was not being duped. Gerhardt motioned with his head for a knight to come hither.
"You sir, take this girl into custody. We will not leave until we have a majority of the gypsies bound," the luminous knight commanded of his follower. The soldier obliged and approached the kneeling girl, rope in hand. However, this minuscule triumph was soon upset as a soldier behind Gerhardt forcefully fell off his horse.
"What is this?" Gerhardt snapped, reflexively centering his gravity and dropping his weight into a fighting stance. All of the knights withdrew their weapons, most being swords, and grouped together closer to Gerhardt. He felt the adrenaline begin to flow from his kidneys into his bloodstream, filling him with an assumed invincibility.
"Knights! We do not tolerate resistance to the throne! Prepare yourselves and capture the gypsies before us. Those who resist will be slain!" His knights roared in unison, leaving an unearthly resonance in the ears of those who heard. The soldiers had one task: capture or kill.
2009-04-28 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick smirked,his 'flaming arrow' of sorts had hit dead on. His smile quickly faded upon hearing the roar however, as he ducked back down, trying to figure out the next move. He knew he would have to react fast, for the metal lamebrains now knew he was there. His mind reflected for a moment, praying that the other man with the bow wasn't in too much trouble from it...
2009-04-29 [Synn]: The cloaked figure was very near to where the largest commotion was, observing the closing scene from the safety of the treeline. He had just arrived in time to hear the knight shouting his valiant battlecry and chirped to himself, "A knight of the king hmm? Interesting...
He quickly scanned the area to ensure he had not been seen or followed, and sensing that he was relatively safe given the circumstances, bounded up the tree silently much in the manner that a cat would. Once he ensured that he was hidden within the fold of the tree's branches, he reached deep within the abyss of his cloak and pulled out a small foul smelling bottle and popped off the cap. He smirked quietly and thought, 'Now things are really going to get "heated" around here...'
2009-04-29 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (-.-.....)
Vareladaine stared at the main knight and smirked. he wasnt paying attention. She ran at him, leapt into the air, the bottom of her foot coliding with his cheek, her heel--with his mouth. She landed on the other side of him before leaping up onto her steed whom had arrived moments before, taking off through the trees, laughing back at the knight.
2009-04-29 [Princess Zelda]: Anastasia stood there, dumbfounded. After making an attempt to form peace of some sort, things had become progressively worse. “Daine, NO!” she shouted pathetically to the air. She watched wearily as Vareladaine and Albinus led a chase away from the scene, certain that they would all face the wrath of the knight in command. Her plan now in ruins, she began to tremble in anxiety. They would surely be killed, after a careless attack like that.
“TAKE ME TO THE KING!” Anastasia yelled. She didn't dare make an attempt to escape, but she would be heard regardless if anyone was paying attention or not. The attack on one of the knight's men-as well as the knight himself had intrigued her, but she was not about to get her hopes up. As a knight rode by, she quickly ran in front of him to block him off. “You there, explain to me what is going on. What will become of me? Honestly, are all of you this brutish with every person who owes a coin or two to your beloved king?” She glanced at the injured commander, thoughtful.
She admired his devotion to the kingdom, but his way of enforcing the law seemed a bit overbearing. It was as if he expected everyone to resist, oblivious to the fact that there were people who wanted peace.
Being a street performer seemed like an innocent enough occupation, although Anastasia knew she had a history of crime. She wished that she could take it all back, if it meant seeing her parents again. Blinking away tears of frustration, she silently prayed that her cousin would surrender herself to the men, so that they could keep their lives. Regretting all of those times she had slept instead of performing, she wondered if she'd ever feel like dancing again.
2009-04-29 [Princess Zelda]: Aware that she had not held the lowly knight's attention for very long, Anastasia sat on the ground. She was thirsty, and at that particular moment did not care if she was trampled upon or not. Although her surroundings were blurry, she could make out the movements of another not too far from where she was resting. The figure had obviously been hiding there the whole time.
Not expecting heroics of any sort, Anastasia yawned and tossed back her hair. Her golden skin was damp with sweat, but it was her belly's protests for food and her throat's demand for water that annoyed her.
2009-04-29 [death how i long to embrace you]: Kellen saw the fire arrow and figured that something was happening and started to let fly arrows with great accuracy none of the arrows where killing blows but with one hit they either where on the ground or could not fight. Arrows went through their arms or their legs. He only took down two of them cause the arrows went off there armor or stopped in the chain mail. He was not to sure but he figured that a whole company of knights vs two females was not to hard to figure out exactly what was the right side to pick. He kept the arrows going until they finally decided to charge his position and he tossed down his bow and picked up his staff and started to fight. He saw the one that had tackled him down to the ground and started to fight over to her to ask her what was going on and why she did that.
2009-04-29 [Princess Zelda]: {Sorry for the vague post. My second one, that is. Hey Death, you've got to give Raver a chance to react before you take out his men!}
2009-04-29 [death how i long to embrace you]: {Sorry sorry its a bit late and I changed it a bit so i only take out 2 at most.}
2009-04-29 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (Yeah... I was gonna say... bit twinkish there...)
2009-04-29 [Princess Zelda]: As the man approached her, Anastasia recognized him as the traveler she had taken down in the woods. “If you came here for an explanation, I'm sorry to disappoint you. You'd better get out of here while you still can.” She began tracing a pattern in the dirt, imagining that it was the skin of a customer. She would have danced atop a mound of hot coal for a bit of henna.
2009-04-29 [Synn]: The cloaked figure decided that the situation had reached its zenith and that action on his behalf was required. Grasping once more into the folds of his attire, he issued forth a crude wooden slingshot that seemed to be ancient and covered in strange markings. Fumbling about he brought forward several more vials of liquid identical to the first.
Grinning nonchalantly to himself, he dropped a small round object in each of the vials, which caused them to start reacting violently. Quickly loading one onto the slingshot, he shot the vial at a building in the village, causing it to erupt into bright yellow flames on impact. The burning of the building caused its inhabitants to flee, and noticing that they were gypsy, quickly fired two more, immolating the two victims in an unforgiving blaze. Smiling at the effect, he fired the remaining vials at several more buildings and the surrounding treeline.
Satisfied with his work, he pulled the cowl from his head and jumped out of the tree and ran into the village towards where the the most activity was taking place. Appearing fearful, he shouted to the group of people as he approached in a high pitched frightened tone of voice. "EVERYONE FLEE! THE SOLDIERS HAVE LIT THE VILLAGE ON FIRE AND HAVE KILLED SEVERAL GYPSY! ESCAPE BEFORE WE ARE ALL CAUGHT WITHIN THIS INFERNO OF DESTRUCTION!!"
2009-04-29 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick nearly jumped out of his skin, the nearby flames startling him like no other. Had he truly just seen what he thought he did? Regardless of this, he knew he had to do something about those guards, and then he would pursue the one who came from the tree.
He lept out of his hiding place, running just close enough to the village to feel the heat of the burning buildings, "That is enough! You came from the fire's of the Earth, lest ye return to the fire's of Hades!"
The fire from the building flew into Fredrick's hand, swirling into a flaming orb, as Fredrick spun, pitching the magical fire at a nearby soldier. Flames continued to summon forth unto him, and Fredrick could only hope and pray his aim was true on each shot.
2009-04-29 [Princess Zelda]: Dehydrated, Anastasia got to her feet. The heat of the flames had spread, causing her already overwhelming thirst to double and her fatigue to worsen as well. She decided that it was no use trying to play prisoner now-it was either run or die. It was in that delirious moment that she came up with an idea: she could find the injured soldier's horse and then somehow convince a massive group of people to stop the fighting.
But before she could attempt to convince... she would need to find her cousin.
The traveler had remained relatively close to where she was, obviously expecting her to say something else. "Help me find the horse of the man that was struck by an arrow. Then you might get the information you desire." Anastasia ran off, making an effort to check every single inch of the village. She knew that he had fallen off before the commander had been kicked the face, but a startled horse could have run anywhere.
Left and Right she demanded information out of the already panicked villagers. She explained calmly that she needed the horse to go after her cousin, but each time she recieved the same silent response. People were just too scared of fire. Sighing, she looked around one last time but the horse was nowhere in sight. When a man with a pitchfork started throwing his belongings into the back of a small cart, she didn't hesitate to run over to him. "Sir, please, have you seen-" Her eyes widened in shock. "Jacques?!" Sure enough, the only eight year old she had ever seen with a pipe in his mouth had been hiding behind a chicken pen. With a giggle, he ran over to greet his older sister. "Papi said that you would be stupid and lazy. He was right! You nearly let them take you, A'na! Why you do that?!" with a glare, she gathered him into a fierce hug. "I was trying to stop the fighting. I suspect foul play, here... Did you see? The house caught fire after the knight's men had surrounded him! They couldn't have done that!" His little brown eyes widened. "Did the fairies do it, A'na? Nana always said that the fairies were trouble!" Anastasia smiled as he punched the air. "No, I don't think the fairies did it. I think... that someone even more unwelcome than the knights may be guilty of this crime."
Jacques gulped, shoving his hair from his eyes. He and Anastasia stared at each other before he eventually ran off. He knew he had to find the fire-starter. While she searched for the missing horse a little more, Anastasia was lost in thought. Was the rest of the caravan there? Were they hiding too? The thought made her heart pound with both excitement and dread. If they were there, she would have to protect them as well.
2009-04-29 [Raver]: The luminous knight had two choice: succumbing to the flaming will of his rage or maintaining control of the situation. Gerhardt didn't spend the last 10 years of his life twiddling his thumbs. No, his training and experiences that led him to take reigns of his own company of knights prepared him for such instances.
However, calamity doesn't care for time as it's another one of man's currencies. A few of his men now lie on the earth, wounded or worse. Adversaries surrounded he and his company An eruption of hellfire engulfed the village, hastily approaching his men and the others., accompanied by a screaming idiot whose tongue let forth accusations against Gerhardt's steadfast and valiant knights —accusations that Gerhardt would not take lightly.
"Squelch this imbecile! His belly vomits forth lies! My men have not yet been given the order to ruin this place!" the luminous knight yelled, straining his voice to be heard above the rumbling laughter of the flames. His men were in a fair amount of disarray, further spread out than before. A gruff knight with a receding hairline pushing back black hair that draped below his neck approached Gerhardt.
"Morale is down and our previous order's are nigh impossible in this commotion!" the long-haired, bearded knight regretted. Gerhardt remained vigilant and barked more orders, "Lucius, Take your men and gut any hostiles. I don't care what their age or sex is; I want them dead." Lucius let out a "yes, sir" from the bottom of his diaphragm and whipped about-face, gathering his men and leading them into the fray.
Gerhardt's eyes widened when he witnessed the gentleman whipping fire about as if he were taming a lion. This must be some sort of wizardry, the luminous knight analyzed, narrowing his eyes in an attempt to diagnose the situation, I can only assume he created this fire; he plays with it like a wooden sword. Gerhardt, readying his swords for any threat attempting to instigate his combative reflexes, approached the mage on foot with a harkening cry, "Sorcerer, give me any good reason not to arrest you for grand arson!"
___
Lucius, wielding a large, studded, flanged mace and a round shield made of iron with a wooden interior, regrouped his men, around five head, and informed them of the luminous knight's orders, "Sir Lezales Gerhardt has given us the task of squelching any who point their swords at us! We will carry this out to the end; `tis our duty as exemplary knights of the great kingdom of Palatina! For the King!"
Uproar burst out from the comparably-sma
___
Numan, a long-faced subordinate to Gerhardt with well-kempt brown hair and olive skin laid hidden in the brush of the remaining forest not yet entrenched in flames. His loaded crossbow's stock rested against Numan's shoulder, now armorless to ensure flexibility and precision.
A white steed ripped through the forest, tearing away at the ground in an effort to remove its rider from danger. Not one to assume, Numan aimed outward in front of the horse, leading and preparing his shot for maximum accuracy and precision. The shot rang out, letting out a snap. The bolt cleaved the air and soared in an adjusted beeline towards the white steed's neck.
2009-04-30 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick paused, his eyes narrowing, focusing on this pompous soldier who dared threaten arrest. As far as he knew, he was doing the right thing... unlike the figure he had seen moments before, "Sir Knight, what authority have you to arrest me? As I see it here you are the invader, and I myself did not start this fire, nor do I have the capability of doing so!" He clenched his fists, dispelling the fire he was holding, knowing that as the knight got closer, he would be more prone to attack if Fredrick had fire in his hands...
2009-04-30 [Princess Zelda]: Anastasia was thankful that her brother had gone to search for the one who had made the flames, for a group of men on horseback had approached her. They might have seemed intimidating to most, but at that moment she was far too tired to care. "I did not start the fire! How dare you jump to such a conclusion! This entire mess could have been prevented, had you bothered a village somewhere else!" She was shouting before they could even open their mouths. Although, Anastasia already knew that they were going to blame her.
Seeing her scarf not too far off, she immediately went to retrieve it. It had been covered in dirt and filth, obviously trampled upon by the frightened crowd. With an irritated growl she held it high in the air, demanding the attention of everyone around her. "I am Anastasia Merle, a fellow performer and artist. My family is innocent. If anyone should be captured, if anyone should be imprisoned or beheaded, it is I. I have stolen from men, I have vandalized the property of many, and I have slandered your king many a time. " Using the rim of a nearby well, she stood above them all-never wavering. "Knights, visitors of the village and fellow residents, I am begging you to stop this mess. No one should have to die today for the sake of a few coins."
Anastasia jumped off of the well, landing several feet away. She approached the magic-wielder and the commanding knight very slowly. Unsure how to address the one that had instigated the invasion, she decided she could show some respect for the sake of settling the chaos. "My lord, I beg of you, release these good people. They have commited no crime. Please take my cousin and I instead," she whispered.
Jacques had been too busy hunting through the bushes for signs of the stranger to notice his sister's next attempt to calm things down. His dark skin and odd hair color often got him made fun of, but he didn't care about being teased as long as he remained his Papi's favorite boy. It was earning his father's praise that made him so determined to find the stranger. He knew that the caravan was close by, for Denali was the one that had sent him to find Anastasia in the first place.
"A'na..." Jacques mumbled to himself, wondering what crazy thing his sister would do next. He knew that when people didn't listen to Anastasia, things got very very bad. Being the little boy that he was, he put all of his trust in his sister's judgement... knowing that whatever it was that she did would help them all in some way.
2009-04-30 [Midori]: Meanwhile (I can't just jump in the story, hehe)
The ship finally landed. It was miraculous that her beat-up fleet managed to dodge it's way out of this one, for it was one hell of a storm. Perhaps she could make somewhat of a living on this island town. Her weapons were far better than what she had seen, and surely there were hunters of any skill down here who would make use of them. Midori retired from her pirating days, since the king was put to an end, and embraced her chance for a new start.
2009-04-30 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine's eyes were fast and she caught glimpse of the arrow, and with a click from her tongue and the pressing of her feet to the side of her steed, the great animal lowered its head, hooves skidding in the dirt and kicking many chunks of it up, the arrow barely grazing the rider's shoulder from the certain persicion of the turn, before the horse took off at the one whom fired the arrow with the same great speed, his head down, hears back, reaching out even further with his mighty hooves, ready to trample the man into the dirt.
2009-05-01 [Midori]: As if from nowhere, two thundering voices come from over the mountain. What in the world could it be? Truly there must be giants existing in the world again! The docks trembled with each resounding echo, and Midori tried to make out the words.
It almost sounded as if it were an argument. She made out a "Fine, but I told you.." this and a "Pathetic" that. Hmm, puzzling. Foolish as it was, she made her way up to the towering mountain side...
.< LOL, I had to! Too much to resist!
2009-05-01 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: The arrow struck the great steed's neck at the base, plunging itself into the muscles. The horse let out a screech but continued on fast, its rider turning her head, she pulled a small knife from her belt and threw it towards the attacker, hoping it would strike him down, her hand going over the arrow sticking out of her great steed's neck. She sighed softly and held it so that it would not tear the muscle to badly. Within 100 feet of the attacker, she forced the steed to slow and stop, she, jumping off quickly so she could cut out the arrow. She removed it and winced, striking one of her knives on a stone to spark, catching it on fire, she burned the wound close, Albinus groaning in pain, before she pulled the knife away and blew out the fire, she got back up on him "At your own pace." She whispered and he took off at a slow canter
2009-05-01 [Princess Zelda]: {Update: I've created a wiki for character descriptions. Look further up on the page, and you all will see it. Put yer stuff in thurr.}
2009-05-01 [Midori]: Oh Abso! I'm on it!
2009-05-01 [Raver]: Lucius laughed at the fleeing girl, "We won't be sure unless we bring you in for questioning!" Before he could continue his reasoning, the girl ran off towards Lucius' commander. Bah, he'll set `er straight, Lucius reckoned to himself, focusing now on the staff-wielding individual the girl left behind.
"You there! Submit yourself and you will not be silenced at this moment! You will be needed for questioning!" Lucius harshly recommended, pointing his mace at the character in question.
___
A knife flew in quickly and stuck itself into Numan's left shoulder. His eyes widened and a select few choice words bubbled to his lips, but were suppressed by his relaxed and trained nature. I'll take special care of this one, he plotted, her mobility is compromised; she won't be a problem much longer.
Numan motioned with his left hand, beckoning two soldiers out from some brush a few meters away. With his hand, Numan directed the two soldiers to approach and capture the woman and her horse. The wounded ranger remained hidden in the brush to ensure his position was not compromised. Hopefully, his two underlings would be able to capture the girl and her horse without any trouble.
___
Gerhardt responded sharply, "My authority rests in my name and rank. You will give yourself up for questioning, understood? I will not treat any future compliance failures with such mercy." A girl's voice could be heard screaming out a long tirade nearby, but Gerhardt kept focused on the sorcerer. The female voice soon revealed itself as the olive-skinned gypsy girl from moments earlier, once again begging to be captured. Gerhardt countered, "There is no proof confirming or denying the innocence of any person in this scene. However, all must be preferably captured to ensure our courts can provide an accurate judgment."
Gerhardt let out an odd whoop, almost like an animal call, summoning a soldier over to the luminous knight's side. Without taking his eyes off the sorcerer, Gerhardt demanded, "Knight, take this girl into custody." With that, the soldier forcefully seized the wrists of the girl and wrangled them behind her back. One down; God knows how many to go.
2009-05-01 [Synn]: The man stopped short when he heard the knights commandment to squelch him, 'I don't really like the sound of that, and its certainly not the effect I was hoping for... oh well, I suppose I'll have to do something about this now...' He stood and waited as he saw several of the soldiers run up to his position with their swords already bared.
"Good heavens, I do not wish any conflict with you good gentlemen, and besides, do we not have a more pressing crisis on our hands here? If you seek to silence me or take me into custody, please refrain from doing so until this matter is resolved so the number of casualties can be reduced to a minimum. At the very least, please let me meet with your commander, I will come with you peacefully." He raised his hands into the air to solidify to the men that we did not pose a threat nor intended to do so. He walked ahead of them towards the bellowing knight, and they followed closely with their swords tips trained sharply on the small of his back.
2009-05-01 [Princess Zelda]: Anastasia sighed, adjusting herself to where the harsh manner of the soldier was seemingly less painful. This was the last time that she would try and make peace with a bunch of men. Although it screamed against every promise she had ever made to herself, she decided she could fight. If the pig wanted to ingore her, she would be fine with that- she would just have to wait a little longer before she could have revenge.
"Be a good boy, Jacques," She whispered. The boy had still been searching the village for the culprit, obviously on a mission to impress. With that, Anastasia clamped her mouth shut and refused to open it again at any time. The soldiers were not worthy of her words, nor the travelers from the forest who had done nothing to help her. She closed her eyes when she remembered her family. "I love you all."
When her eyes snapped open again she could see that the sun was beginning to set. It would have been time for the festival, had the soldiers not invaded the village. She could feel the humidity seep into her skin, making her hair sticky and unpleasant as well as making the self-inflicted scars on her body tingle. Numerous were her attempts to create a permenant tattoo, but henna just wouldn't work.
When Jacques emerged from the woods, he quickly dodged behind the home of a former resident, never taking his eyes off his sister. His expression screamed 'what the bloody hell are you doing?!' but Anastasia simply shook her head. Jerking her head to the left, she signaled to him to remain hidden before turning around to make sure he hadn't been discovered. When she looked back, she smiled a little and simply mouthed the word 'run'.
At least he would be safe.
2009-05-01 [Midori]: Wow, everyone has such great vocab here. Why the crap aren't we famous?!?!
2009-05-01 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine heard the men and turned her head, looking at Albinus, she slid off of him when he was still at a canter. "Go boy, find me if I get captured. I know you will." He had stopped and returned to her, whining quietly. She held his nose close to her, pressing her lips to it. He breathed in her face then turned and took off at the canter again, tail swishing. He was a Boggart. He'd be able to find her. Daine sighed and turned, pulling her bladed knucklers from her waist, she readied herself for the men.
2009-05-02 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick held back the burning urge in his gut to laugh at the Captains ego. To him, name and rank meant nothing, nor did some fancy armor or soldiers. Fredrick's eyes narrowed a bit more, trying to determine if he was going to be able to win this battle, or if it was wiser to surrender for now. He looked at the sky, noting that it was nearing night... which didn't give him very much time to make a decision.
He took his sword, and drove it deep into the ground, snapping his fingers on his right hand before holding the hilt with both hands, "Alright. For now, I will co-operate, but be warned, I will not be victim of a corrupt system. You are the ones trespassing here. Just be careful with my sword...
Fredrick stepped away from his blade slowly, his hands at his sides, not giving any hint that he had just superheated the metal of his sword as to deter anyone from touching it. He awaited shackles, and nightfall...
2009-05-04 [Raver]: Numan's soldiers approached the fire dancer, hurriedly climbing the hill. The two men threatened, "Halt! Do not try to escape! Drop your weapons and get on your knees!" The underling knights kept their hands on their blades, ready to fight if necessary. The distance between the girl and her pursuers closed more and more.
___
Gerhardt leered icily at the wizard. The sorcerer used the earth as a sheath for his blade, and then, after snapping his fingers, held onto the hilt longingly. Gerhardt raised his eyebrow, keenly observing the odd finger-related mannerisms of the mage. Peculiar habit, you have, the luminous knight commented to himself.
"You are in no position to vomit threats," Gerhardt readily reminded the man adorned with a hanging cross, "Where you're going, your sword will not miss you. The rubble and ashes shall be its keeper in case you're cleared" Gerhardt commanded a soldier, one previously assisting in binding the auburn-haired gypsy, to ensnare the sorcerer; the beckoned soldier approached the mage hesitantly. Seeing the uneasiness in his follower, Gerhardt made a quick proclamation, "On your knees, or I will consider you hostile."
The instant Gerhardt finished his provocation, a few of his soldiers surrendered unto him a cloaked individual, one Gerhardt recognized as his slanderer. The luminous knight, indignation in his voice, proclaimed, "Your name —I demand it!"
2009-05-04 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Her eyes closed before she spoke. "If I dont? If I put up a fight?" She struck the blades togeather and they caught fire, she, lowering into a fighting stance.
2009-05-04 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick couldn't help but smile softly at the captains words. He knew all too well that the captains ego would be the end of him at this rate, however, he complied with the orders, getting to his knees, his eyes flashing as the sun dipped below the trees, the light from the torches being the only light around.
"Oh dear... not again.." Fredrick mumbled, his eyes rolling into the back of his head. A red "S" looking symbol appeared on his forehead as he collapsed to the ground, a giant cloud of black smoke covering the entire area surrounding the men...
A dark chuckle was heard moments later, the smoke clearing, the body of Fredrick having vanished, a figure stood in the shadows 20ft or so away from where it had been. As he took a step out his silver hair fluttered slightly in the breeze, his black robes following suit, A sword similar to Fredrick's slung across his back. A smile crossed his features as his yellow eyes reflected in the darkness. "Now... what do we have here? An army of the King himself? Very curious... "
2009-05-04 [Synn]: As the man and the soldiers who watched over him approached the commander of the knights, a strange event occurred no more than a few feet away. Raising an eyebrow at this curious new development, he smiled quietly to himself as he turned to look at the commanding knight who had just demanded his name in a very irritated sounding voice. Mildly amused by the unexpected order, the man smiled widely as he made a slight bow with his right arm and tipped his head slightly.
"Well, I must comment that of all the things I expected you to demand of me sir knight, my name was not a courtesy I had thought we would share. However, I am a man of decency, and my name you shall have... I am Leoht Deofol, a simple man traveling the country as a bard, exploring new places, meeting new people and collecting ingredients for my personal hobby." He paused a moment to collect himself and take a better assessment of the situation, unsure of how he should act given the new issue that had arisen only moments before.
"Of yourself, may I inquire as to your name and purpose here if its not too much to ask? Seeing as how I got caught up in this event quite unexpectedly and am still confused as to what exactly is going on around here. I am assuming by the fact that I was greeted by pointed blade, that either I am one of the intended targets of this situation, or that my earlier rash assumption was wrong and I am brought here on terms of slandering you good knights?"
He looked back unwaveringly at the commander with an inquisitive look, while keeping aware of the very strange looking fellow with silver hair, wondering which direction this tense situation would turn in the next few moments.
2009-05-04 [Princess Zelda]: {For those of you who aren't paying attention, Jezzibel is a transvestite. I also want to apologize for the many errors in that post- I've been very busy.}
2009-05-05 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius chuckled from hearing the words of the cloaked man. Clearly this genius held no regard for his own safety, a trait which Dius assumed wouldn't be serving him well for much longer. He took a few steps froward, Looking at the captain. "While I think this fool will have earned the beating your going to give him, I myself am rather curious as to what exactly is going on here. I don't give a rats about your name, for all I care you could be called Shelia, but your purpose intrigues me.
2009-05-06 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (having fun playing with yourself? And every swxual thing that goes along with that question. LOL)
2009-05-06 [Princess Zelda]: {Playing with myself is not fun. .___.}
2009-05-06 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (Ahhahahahahaha
2009-05-06 [Raver]: First geomancy, now this, Gerhardt asked himself, his head throbbing slightly. He didn’t like where this was going. Magic, Gerhardt believe, was something he was not well versed in. But, the silver-haired apparition had a sword, and Gerhardt knew the sword practically biblically.
The unreasonably jovial bard grated Gerhardt’s ears with every word the entertainer spilled out. His wording is peculiar. Traveling as a bard? Why not state that verily he is a bard?
“That’s enough, Leoht!” Gerhardt mandated, “No accusations come against you except from your own tongue. You will be bound and brought in for trial; Lucian Gerhardt of the Shining Cross Chevaliers demands it.” Gerhardt faced the silver-haired man and retorted, “The knights do not beat citizens like lowly beggars. Violence answers violence’s questions.” Again, in response to the seemingly confident swordsman, the luminous knight countered, “Your arrogance impresses me not. Throw down your blade and come peacefully; violence need not be the mediator, though she is a persuasive wench.”
___
The two soldiers withdrew their blades the moment the gypsy’s daggers ignited.
“This is your last warning!” one of the men shouted authoritativel
2009-05-06 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: The fire gypsie smiled at them and shook her head. "God, you knights dont know how to ask nicely." She shook her head again then blew the fire off of her blades, tossing them towards the men, the smoldering blades landing at their feet. She crouched down. "Well there ya go."
2009-05-06 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius laughed once more, eyes focused on the captain, Gerhardt was it? Interesting. Haven't heard that name for a century or more. Tell me, why is it you suddenly consider me a threat? I have not made a single gesture nor action to suggest such. It is true, I have a sword, but as do you, and you don't see me waving it in the air while I speak. So until such time as I present myself anything but friendly, do hold your tongue in matters of orders, for I serve no Gypsie nor Bard. His eyes remained respectfully stern, as if more focused on the captains concerns than anything. Dius' hands had not yet moved from a crossed position across his chest.
2009-05-06 [Princess Zelda]: Jezzibel could not stop fidgeting. The bizarre visit from earlier had shaken him to his very core- he doubted he would recover anytime soon. The gypsies were notorious for their beliefs in faeries or spirits of any kind, but it was the cat's malevolence that had made him put aside any thought of magical mischief.
The wounds that had been inflicted on his chest had started to heal, but the pain he knew would remain in his mind for many years to come. It was just too frightening. Why would a netherworldly spirit decide to use him of all people? He remembered the stories of his childhood consisting of a hero or princess that had often been visited by creatures with the gift of speech. Jezzibel was no hero, though he often dreamed of being a princess.
"The cat... the cat will be back. What will I do?" he whimpered to himself. Pacing back and forth between the carts, he did not notice Denali walking towards him from behind. Jezzibel jumped at the booming voice, "How goes it, Jezzy? I've yet to hear any word of A'na from Jacques, as the boy has yet to return. I must gather more wood for the fire, or the meat will never cook. It upsets me how Jacques worries his mother so. Would you be willing to look for him? It isn't too far back to the village..." Jezzibel's eyes had glazed over, as the man carried on. He could hear the voice in the back of his mind warning him not to leave the camp because of the cat, but he didn't want to make Denali suspicous. "Of... of course I'll go..." he stammered.
Annoyed, he flashed his prettiest smile, and went off to fetch one of the family knives. As Denali walked off into the woods, Jezzibel slipped behind a cart and removed his scarf. He tucked a knife into his skirt, and used the once smooth and silky scarf to scrub the cosmetics from his face. Stubble had begun to develop along his jaw, making him frown as he ran his fingers along it. If he didn't hurry and shave, he would go mad. Perfection was what he lived for.
All he had to do now was find the brat, then he would take a long luxurious bath in the creek before he had to worry about the cat again.
2009-05-07 [Synn]: (Apologies for not posting yet but I am SUPAR tired from being up all day and working all night, I'll post around 230-300 ish CST ...i.e. when I wake up!)
2009-05-07 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (Thats understandable
2009-05-07 [Princess Zelda]: {Alright, guys. Enough with the heroics- we need to take the setting elsewhere. :/}
2009-05-07 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (I need a post from Douglass :D)
2009-05-08 [Raver]: The luminous knight stepped forward, snapping, "My patience is teetering on the brink! We shall turn to ash along with the village if we do not leave soon! Drop your weapons and submit yourself to us, or die amongst the cindering ruin of this place; you will leave with us or not at all." This threat, obviously directed at the crossed-armed man, came with a hint of venom in Gerhardt's voice. It was obvious now that the knight wanted, or rather needed, to vacate the dangerous premises, but others' resistances made it difficult.
___
Alarmed at the sudden tossing of her weapons, the two soldiers spread out and surrounded the gypsy, each one mirroring the other in a 45 degree angle from the girl.
"On your knees, girl!" one knight demanded, his sword pointed towards the girl, "Hands behind your head! We're taking you in!" The knights inched closer to her, each about two sword-lengths away.
2009-05-08 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius once again chuckled, "Alright Gerhardt, how about this, let us vacate, however, I don't drop the sword. We can discuss the terms of my 'surrender' when it's safe. He was becoming slightly annoyed at the lack of respect he was receiving, it seemed he had been gone from the public eye for a bit too long for the current generation to even know him by sight...
2009-05-08 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: "On my knees, on my knees!" She rolled her eyes. "On YOUR knees, filthy Knights!" She did a spin, green eyes searching for her great steed, calling to him mentally, she spoke. Follow my scent...Find me....I will free myself...And we will run. She then spun again to be moreso facing the soldiers. "You want me? Fine. Cuff me, hit me, drag me along behind a horse....But I swear to the Earth Mother and the Fire Goddess, I will make your imprisonment of my being a living hell." She laughed then went down to her knees, smirking at the soldiers, putting her hands behind her head once more.
2009-05-10 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (my post was made on my phone and looks rather long to me get over it at least posts are happening)
2009-05-10 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (Brittany, I am sorry that I havnt been in the computer in several days. I am sorry that my post on my phone looked tons longer then it actually was. On my phone, those two lines appear to be five. I am going to participate, it is no big deal if these dumb problems keep rearing their ugly heads. I post. I do the best I can with what I have at my access, and how am I repayed? With being told I'm wrong, with being shot down. No matter, I will fix my forsaken post and we will all be happy again. Do we have an accord?)
2009-05-10 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (Is that more the kind of post you were hoping for, dearest Brittany?)
2009-05-10 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (My apologies Brit. I know I'm on the list. Between work and the limited amount of things I can do, yeah. I'll make sure the next ones are better. -Z)
2009-05-10 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (::hugs:: it's ok Brit. And PS to everyone, call me Z.)
2009-05-11 [Midori]: [I just wish I had time to do it!, that and the fact I don't know where to come in]
2009-05-11 [Synn]: OI WHAT IS THIS FAGGOT TREE!? I finally have access to a computer and intarnets again, come on here to post, and lo and behold... WHAT IS THIS!? Patience is the essential quality of a person and a virtue to be praised... it is true that the frequency of posts is not as often as one would like, but as mentioned, the fact that people have busy lives is warranted. I know that you and Daglas have anger management issues and that's fine, its something you just gotta deal with or at least have someone show you how stupid you're being (i.e. ME), but to get irritated and angry about an online roleplay, especially to the point of being discouraged, you are just as bad as those people who whine and cry about being trolled on Gaia... come on, you're better than that and I know it. Anyway, putting this RP on hiatus is not the correct course of action in my opinion, I would love to discuss this further and have you revoke your previous decision at your earliest convenience. BEST REGARDS -SV
2009-05-11 [Synn]: Daglas gets bored with things much too easily, one could count the number of vidya games he owns and be mindblown, but one could count the number of vidya games he's completed on your hands... but once my phone is charged I'll have a chat with both of you .
2009-05-11 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (he's being a douche.)
2009-05-12 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (fine)
2009-05-13 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: The furious beat of hooves echoed and in rode a girl on a magnificent stallion. The horse leapt over small children and a few short men and women that failed to move. It's rider wore steel armor the color of copper, a firey ruby in the chestplate. The observers and contestants tore their eyes from her cousin and settled them on the rider. Her short, firey red hair stood up on her head, meeting in the middle as a point. (fohawk) her bright green eyes highly contrasted with the colors she wore, her hair and skin, but none the less looked amazing. Tho I say she when I speak of her, she hid her identity as a woman, afraid that she would not be able to compete otherwise. The stallion slowed to a walk next to her cousin and a gauntlet covered hand reached out. Through the mask covering the lower half of her face, she altered her voice, the mask helped with this aswell, she spoke, sounding like an 20 year old young man "anestesia, come, mount." the outstreached hand waited. The young gypsie girl winked at her cousin. On her back was one of her favorite companions, a large serrated edged sword, on her waist were two serrated edge daggers, and strapped to the armored saddle on the brass armored horse was a metal pole made to be lit on fire. The older girl smiled under the mask and waited.
2009-05-13 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: "I'm getting us to the sign up stand quickly" she spoke still in the voice of a male. "I don't know if females can enter the contest, that's why I came as I did" she said through the mask. She looked at the dark eyes and pulled her steed up for a moment, sitting up properly, she presented a challenge. She was protective of her cousin. She tapped her steed to a walk again and he went up the stairs to the entry stand. "Daine Riddle of the southern colonies, knight of the ancient flame, reporting for the hand to hand compotition, small weapons, jousting, and swordsmanship" she spoke in the male voice. The people nodded and wrote down everything. They took papersfrom Daine, forged of coarse. They nodded then looked at anestesia.
2009-05-13 [Synn]: (Bah, I'll post when I wake up before I go to work... too sleepeh to think straight right now, and that does not a good story make)
2009-05-13 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine's eyes shot to the man again and she frowned. She signed some papers quickly then tapped albinus' sides. He jumped from the stand and trotted towards the tent they were to stay In, as though he already knew where to go. Vareladaine stated at the dark man still, a hand fingeringbone of her weapons.
2009-05-14 [Synn]: The man gazed wearily out the window, brooding over the hustle and commotion in the city streets below. It was the time of the king's yearly tournament, and people from all over and every walk of life were here to compete for glory, honor, money, and the right to make a single request of the king. The rumor had reached him that the king was even letting gypsy participate this year, perhaps in order to give them some way of escaping their inevitable persecution. But the man knew this was no time to be brooding, as he had a very important duty to attend to at the tournament. He walked over to his wardrobe and began to equip himself accordingly.
On his head he put on a leather coif with a metallic face mask in order to conceal his identity, a tunic and and long sleeved garb came next, and over this he began belting on thick crude looking armor that went over both arms and an especially thick plate which covered his chest, Next he put on tight, form fitting leggings and the loose baggy cloth pants that helped conceal the movements of the legs, a sturdy leather belt held this all together in the middle. For the finishing touches he strapped on his tall leather boots, fitted leather gloves over both hands, covered his face with a cowl, and threw a long flowing cloak over himself that concealed his body completely unless he was moving. The cloth garbs had all been dyed the color of pitch in order to make him look even more foreboding for this event.
Satisfied with this, the man grabbed up his small assortment of pouches, slingshot, and two long thin knives that would would almost mistake for rapier blades at first glance. As he past the door his eyes fell upon a charwood lute that he had crafted for him many years back, and slinging this over his back he left the room silently.
He made his way through the castle and left the grounds out the back so that no one would see that he had come from within the castle and he made his way around to the front where the entrance to the main hall was. He felt all the eyes upon him, the hushed voiced and pointed fingers. They all knew who he was and what he stood for, they had seen arena matches before and this was not the man's first appearance here. Arriving at the entrance to the main hall, he entered, and almost immediately heard all of the chatter and bustle cease at once as the people and contestants turned and gazed upon him silently.
2009-05-14 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (who are you suppose to be?)
2009-05-15 [Midori]: [work keeps me as it's slave. I have to make a Sacajawea outfit and tons of native American jewelry in a god-freaking week. I hate my life at the moment.]
2009-10-11 [Princess Zelda]: {Damn, I miss this roleplay.}
2009-10-12 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (I did not realise you deleted all your posts. I wouldn't mind starting it up again but we need structure.
2009-10-12 [Princess Zelda]: {I thought about deleting the entire thing. Everyone got worked up over it and all- I just enjoyed reading the posts too much. I deleted mine because I thought they sucked.}
2009-10-13 [Lyoko~Freasion]: I'd love to get going again... I just don't want to totally get out of the loop again
2009-10-15 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (you always think your posts suck. We need structure and no one needs to get butthurt over magic and shapeshifting and things of the like. We also do not need godmoders, nor anything like that, we need everyone to post, like let's say I post, I need to let everyone post before I do again.
2009-10-15 [Princess Zelda]: {We can start this one over again- but there will be two less participants, lol. Maybe more.}
2009-10-15 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Just a suggestion: POSTING ORDER
2009-10-15 [Princess Zelda]: {Alright- Eryn, Me, Lyoko and then whoever else. Eryn's character and my own are usually interacting the most.}
2009-10-15 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (Storyline is?)
2009-10-15 [Princess Zelda]: {The same... yet different. We're starting over.}
2009-10-15 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (I guess I'll just base what I've got off of your posts... I pray I can still play Dius and Fredrick...)
2009-10-15 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (as long as you don't go crazy with like killing and have godmod type things happening I'm fine.
2009-10-15 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (I've RP'd for quite a while. I can play Dius and Fredrick fairly without a doubt. When you used to RP with Hitler, you have to be fair.
2009-10-15 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (what?)
2009-10-15 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (aka Im all down with the fairness clause)
2009-10-16 [Princess Zelda]: {How about we roleplay and not assume that godmodding will take place? Let's start the damn thing.}
2009-10-16 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (After you ladies...)
2009-10-17 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine crept through the brush towards the small herd of deer, her bow in hand, an arrow ready to be shot when she pulled back the string. She had her eyes set on a young buck.
2009-10-20 [Princess Zelda]: "You're an idiot." The sun was setting too quickly. The cousins were already accustomed to marching through the woods on an empty stomach, but their stamina was fading fast. Shoving her older cousin aside, Anastasia knocked an arrow and quickly ducked behind the nearest bush, scattering a small group of lizards that had taken shelter beneath it. "They're going to see you."
2009-10-20 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: "they won't! Trust me." she whispered back, getting behind a tree she leaned around and took aim.
2009-10-20 [Princess Zelda]: Sighing, the young gypsy lowered her arrow. A cut that began at her lip had crusted to her chin. "We're never going to get out of this Godforsaken place. We're going to be raped and maimed by the pixies."
2009-10-20 [Eyes of the Reaper]: ooc: I'd join but I'm not exactly sure what the setting and whatnot is...
2009-10-20 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (Posting order is also not being followed already...)
2009-10-20 [Princess Zelda]: {Posting order applies when everyone is available to roleplay. Otherwise it will take days for the roleplay to progress. I'll be glad to fill whoever in on what's going on, though.}
2009-10-20 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (Britt told me to post again because you were not posting.) daine glanced at her cousin then let the arrow fly, hitting her mark, the deer rsn a few yards then fell. "ha! Told you!!" she smirked
2009-10-20 [Eyes of the Reaper]: ooc: Posting order is impractical when a group has sporadic posting peaks. Hey, Britt, go ahead and fill me in, you can do it via PM if you want though.
2009-10-21 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (I wasn't online... I actually have to work too. I can post when I get home each night, but if it keeps going while I'm AFK, there will be nothing I can really do here. Granted, I know its early, but later on it will be a problem...)
Fredrick sat up and stretched, the water from the river rolling off his arms and head glistening in the sunset. It had been a long weeks travel to this area, and he still had much farther to go to reach the Saint's Tree he had heard about. Yawning, he stood up and walked to the grass on the side of the river, lying down next to his things. The images of his last encounter with his master burning in his mind...
~There was blood... lots of it. His eyes burned as he looked around, various shapes of bodies and body parts littered the floor. His hands slopped as he crawled towards the nearest corpse, the corpse of his master. The monk wasn't dead, not yet at least. His eyes were dim yet the look of sheer terror upon seeing Fredrick was as clear as day. "Just... do it already... Kill me. I know that's what your goal was all along you Monster!"~
Fredrick brushed the memory off his mind. Picking up his things, he wandered off into the woods to find something to eat, praying he would find something before pure nightfall.
2009-10-21 [Eyes of the Reaper]: Dmytrii sat on a tiny rock, staring inquisitively at the shiny man. She had her tiny head cocked to the side, blinking. He was so shiny!--and she did so love shiny. She giggled to herself and flitted her wings, chucking a small pebble at him as she followed him on his quest for food.
2009-10-23 [Princess Zelda]: {CUUUUUUUUUUUT
2009-10-23 [Eyes of the Reaper]: ooc: lol Glad you like her. :)
2009-10-23 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (According to my Roll (3 on a 20) I didn't notice it... So I'm still walking until some more posts get up)
2009-10-23 [Princess Zelda]: "Alright then." No longer fuming, Anastasia sat on the ground. According to her imaginary calender, they had been lost in the woods for nearly three weeks. Food was scarce and their clothes were torn. Boredom was a constant companion, for she no longer had the strength to practice acrobatics. "We need to find water, before we eat that thing. Something to wash it down, you know?"
2009-10-23 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine looked at her cousin and nodded. "alright, let me make it lighter." she pulled her knife from her belt and headed over to the deer, she began to gut it. This action took her several minutes. She then drug the beast over to her cousin."if you can take my bow and bag, I can carry this deer. Um pretty sure we are close to water. I can hear it."
2009-10-23 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick looked around despairingly as he walked through the forest, trying to find anything edible. It had been many days sense he had had a decent meal, and with nightfall less than an hour away by the looks of it, he knew he would soon be forced into sleep by the night. He just prayed he could find something before then. His eyes flashed to the left, catching a small glimpse of something, a small ball of fire hitting that same spot a moment later, revealing not only a large insect, but now a large amount of burning grass. "Oh hell..."
2009-10-23 [Eyes of the Reaper]: Dmytrii stared at the fire, having continued to follow Fredrick. You know...if I sit here and stare at the fire, I'll lose track of the shiny man...fire...o
2009-10-24 [Princess Zelda]: Closing her eyes in acknowledgemen
2009-10-24 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine sighed and went to her cousin, weakly picking her up, along with the deer, heading for the water shr could hear very far off
2009-10-24 [Princess Zelda]: There wasn't a color she hated more. Green coated each and every one of her senses, even as she slept. Hands reached for her where branches should have been. Eyes peered from darkness that shouldn't have existed within the sunlit clearing. Murmuring, she outstretched an arm to brush the blue skin of a body that danced just beyond her reach. {She's dreaming, not having an acid trip.}
2009-10-24 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick bent over, patting out the fire he had started attempting to get something to eat. Night was approaching fast, and it wouldn't be long before he was completely useless. His eyes scanned father into the forest, spotting a small pool of blood on the ground. Kneeling down he inspected it, finding that it was fresh. Nearby lay the carcass of what looked to be a deer, yet no meat remained. It seemed he was not destined to find anything this night. Fredrick grabbed his sword and headed back to the river where he stayed the night before, praying that he would not be disturbed until nightfall.
2009-10-24 [Eyes of the Reaper]: Dmytrii followed him after picking a leaf off of a silk tree and beginning to munch on it; she wasn't a fan of meat, since it generally consisted of insects. The leaf was as long as she was--she'd be able to eat off of this for days, so long as it was still green.
2009-10-24 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine groaned and went to her cousin. "I guess we are camping here.." she muttered, setting the deer down before she began to pick up wood for a fire. "you need to quit stressing or imma have to carey you..."
2009-10-25 [Princess Zelda]: {lol 'carey'}
2009-10-25 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (I was half asleep, sorry)
2009-10-26 [Princess Zelda]: Anastasia opened her eyes. "...What? Who are you talking to? Where are we?" Shivering, she tried to rub away the goosebumps that ran up her arms and legs. The temperature had dropped since nightfall, endangering them.
2009-10-26 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine threw her fur blankets over her cousin. "I'm talking to you technecally but more of myself" she put the firewood in a pile then made a little 'teepee' of sticks, holding her hands out to it she took in a breath, then rubbed her hands togeather, heating them, she then clapped and sparkscaught the wood on fire, a large flame flaring up. She cut off a chunk of the deer and began to cook it over the fire before turning to her cousin. "just rest and warm up cousin. Food will be ready in about an hour."
2009-10-26 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Fredrick stumbled as he walked... the combination of hunger and nightfall clouding his vision. His foot caught a root, and he slammed head first into the ground; Night had taken him...
It was the same nightmare every time...
His hands were covered in blood; His master's body lying dead in front of him. The black darkness surrounding him endlessly seemed to have a mind of its own... pulsing as if it had a consciousness. "You will never win Fredrick... You can not defeat it..." The dark voice echoed over and over. Fredrick couldn't do anything, frozen in place, forced to stare at his hands and his dead master. With a gust of chilling air the hand came and dragged him into the eternal darkness...
A flash of yellow light; a crumbling of leaves and sticks. The figure stood up where Fredrick's body once lay. "Hmm... the forest? Interesting... I had hoped to be in a city where I could partake in some true pleasures of life... Shame." The dark man walked around a bit, "Seems to be no food anywhere near here... which is a challenge to say the least... But... I smell a fire... Looks like dinner might not be so far off yet... " The man began walking in the direction of the fire smell... a chilling wind following him...
2009-10-27 [Eyes of the Reaper]: Dmytrii blinked and darted toward the smell of the cooking meat, appearing much as a hummingbird would with her starting and stopping. She was perplexed by the big man and where the smell was coming from.
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: The figure stopped, his eyes flashing behind him, having caught sight of something in the night. He turned slightly, his yellow eyes reflecting against the moonlight, "Who is there? Show yourself so that thou might be spared." His gaze was not a pleasant one, nor was his tone of voice.
2009-10-27 [Eyes of the Reaper]: She stopped, plopping herself up on a tree branch. She wasn't hiding, but she wasn't about to fly up and say hello either.
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: The man shook his head in utter disappointment at the antics the other creature was playing, "Oh come now... Seriously?" He extended his hand, an orange flame began to snake from beneath his black gauntlet and into the air, "If you value your life, you will come forth."
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: Not even bothering to ask where the blankets had come from, Anastasia sat up and yawned. "I can't even think about food anymore. I just want to get out of here. Daine, once we leave the forest... I'm leaving the caravan."
2009-10-27 [Eyes of the Reaper]: Dmytrii frowned and went toward the fire, distracted from the game she was playing. Her tiny body and iridescent wings seemingly floated their way over to him, her eyes shimmering with the light from the fire.
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: The man smiled darkly, chuckling to himself as the small woman approached. "So... A sprite is it? Fairy? What is it exactly that you are, and I suppose, furthermore, what is it your called?" The flames from his gauntlet flew forward and encircled the woman, pulling her in closer, yet being quite careful not to burn her whatsoever.
2009-10-27 [Eyes of the Reaper]: "I am a fairy. An elementalist named Dmytrii," her voice was very quiet, as would be expected from such a tiny being, though it was not high pitched. She tore her eyes from the fire to look at the man's face.
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: The man's eyes seemed to grin with a malice of sorts, clearly he had stumbled onto some fortune, "Dmytrii eh? Such a fine name for a Fairy, or rather, an elementalist. My name is Dius Sarconas, I am an Elemental Sorcerer. Tell me, Dmytrii, what element is it you specialize in?"
2009-10-27 [Eyes of the Reaper]: She crossed her arms proudly over her chest, puffing it out, "I am a water and earth elementalist. Water first and foremost."
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius's eyes narrowed, "Don't get huffy with me, fairy. I haven't wandered this world for over one-thousand years to put up with any lip from the likes of you." Dius snapped his fingers, causing the fire to act as sort of chains on the Fairy's wrists, pulling her in closer, his yellow eyes staring annoyed at her, "Unless you want your life to end, you best cooperate. I believe you would make a good companion to have around you see, you water and my fire combined could prove quite powerful. Savvy?"
2009-10-27 [Eyes of the Reaper]: She blinked and nodded, struggling against the bonds, but to no avail--and she was in no position to use her magic on him.
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (Hey guys... It'll be at least a few hours before I can post again... Have to Reformat the beast.)
2009-10-27 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine looked at her cousin, frowning. "but..why? You... Can't.. Leave.. You promised when I came there as a kid you would.. Stay with me.. The caravan isn't.. Isn't bad... I meen it's our fault we got lost... " she looked back at the fire as it died down, not from lack of wood, but her emotion was no longer happy and the flame was dying because of it. She closed her eyes and made the flame go back up. "and if your not hungry then fine... I'll just eat... It's whatever... Not like I worked my ass off for this deer or anything.." she turned her back to her cousin, obviously hurt.
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: "Daine, relax. I'll eat the food," she sighed. The warmth from the fire and the blankets made her skin hot and sweaty, so she threw them aside and stood. "I have no desire to spend the rest of my life as a thief. We're lost in these woods because we chased that man, remember?" The tone of Anastasia's voice was pleading but in her mind she wasn't so sure. "I want to find work. Fall in love, have a few kids. A normal life where I don't have to worry about being locked away."
2009-10-27 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine sighed and rubbed her face. "that may be what you want to do but how do you know the world will accept you after being a gypsie for so long? I meen.. This is all I'll ever be able to do.. I'm a theif by heart, ever since I was little, remember?"
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: "I remember alot of things, but I've also forgotten. Right now we just need to stay alive until dawn. If we keep going-" Anastasia's eyes widened. "Do you hear that?" There were voices. She could hear them faintly, but she could not tell from which direction.
2009-10-27 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine nodded slowly "I've heard them for several minutes. We are safe, do not worry, if anyone comes near, we will eather flee or fight." she offered her cousin some deer.
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: Stuffing the food in her mouth, Anastasia climbed the nearest tree. "They might know a way out. I'll scan from up here. Extinguish the fire before you follow them."
2009-10-27 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: "I do not like one of the voices. I will not follow unless I trust them." daine held the leg over the fire again, her jade eyes stairing into the fire still.
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: "Suit yourself," she muttered. Her desire to find a way out was far greater than her desire to go back to the fire and stay warm. Giving up on investigating from the treetops, she dropped to the ground silently."What
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius smirked, grinning like a child who just made a discovery. "Fairy, there is no use. You would do well to consider serving under me. There is no telling what unimaginable powers you wield, and I will not have them turned against me. So it's your choice, follow or don't."
2009-10-27 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine looked at her cousin. "damnit cousin.. You know I can't leave you. Just wait, I'm sure they smell the food and hear the crackle of the fire, they will fine this way. I would much rather them come to us, I know where we are, I know the layout of this area, I do not know over there, I do not know them and I do not trust them." she grabbed her cousins hand. "do not go."
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: "I will go," she hissed, turning out of her grasp. She broke into a run, breathing heavily from exhaustion.
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: Several minutes had passed. Anastasia's heart sank- She had stumbled through the dark hopefully, only to find out that an even greater threat stalked the woods at night. Remaining hidden, A'na ('Onna') drew a small knife from her belt and narrowed her eyes. Killing the man would not be easy, but she would not allow harm to the small winged thing that he continued to harass. She knew it was a fairy, but her mind was too exhausted to grasp the situation and accept it as reality.
2009-10-27 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (-.- oy...)
2009-10-27 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine growled and picked up their things, she left the fire ablaze and bolted after her cousin, eyes angry.
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: {Dude, we've been stalling. Time to meet the other characters.}
2009-10-27 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (Alright right alright.)
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (Once the fairy posts, this could get interesting... ETA on Daylight?)
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: {hm?}
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (Aka, how much longer of night?)
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: {You can make it daytime whenever you like.}
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (No no no... With 2 people RP'ing, both controling a different character, it doesn't work like that. lol. I'll leave it to yall.)
2009-10-27 [Eyes of the Reaper]: Dmytrii considered her situation and decided it best to go along with him, sighing she agreed to his demands.
2009-10-27 [Princess Zelda]: {I'mjustsayin'
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (True, but, Shadow and I would totally argue on who's turn it was. BTW Post coming ASAP, have to finish something fast.)
2009-10-27 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius smirked, "Very well then, Fairy, I release you from these chai..." Dius paused, the fire releasing from the Fairy, yet something troubled him. Something was ill on the wind... "Guard yourself Fairy... something is near that I do not believe to be friendly."
2009-10-27 [Eyes of the Reaper]: Dmytrii hid in a tree, watching as her wings pulled themselves tight to her body. She looked like a twig with an odd colored leaf atop it.
2009-10-27 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine grabbed her cousins wrist, "hush! Do not attack"
2009-10-28 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius' eyes narrowed, trying to see any sign of whatever it was that came forth on the wind, "I don't like being snuck up on... nor do I appreciate being interrupted in general..." He raised his arm, attempting to light the area with the flame from his gauntlet, but to no avail.
2009-10-28 [Lyoko~Freasion]: [Just a heads up yall... not only am I in the middle of a HUGE project... it's snowing like hell. I may lose net.]
2009-10-28 [Princess Zelda]: A'na yanked her hand away. "I'd like to know what the hell you're doing in my forest." What? Where did that come from? A'na shook her head violently, frightened by her own outburst. Anxiety and frustration made her impatient. Cautiously, she stepped out of the darkness that hid her. "I haven't the strength to fight, but I'm willing to place my life before yours," she said softly. An unexpected breeze ruffled her coppery hair, making it appear as if it had a mind of its own.
2009-10-28 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius stood semi startled by the voice which came from within the female who now stood before him. She seemed to have some spiritual power about her, as an uneasy aura about her. "Just exactly who do you think you are speaking to me in that tone, let alone whatsoever?"
2009-10-28 [Princess Zelda]: "I don't know who I am or why I am here." I didn't say that! What's going on... something is wrong! A'na stepped forward. The world spun beneath her, making her suddenly nauseous. "Daine, I believe something is sending me those strange dreams. Something is in my head." Her eyes widened as she faced the stranger once again. "YOU! I'll speak to you if I so choose. You're just a man wandering through the forest. Stuck here just as we are. Weak and hungry," She grinned.
2009-10-29 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius scoffed, "Weak m'lady? Surely you jest. While it is true, I do seek food, I am NOT weak." His eyes narrowed, trying to spot what was taking control of this simpleton. It seemed as if there must be a spirit of some kind involved in this possession.
2009-10-29 [Princess Zelda]: {lol simpleton}
2009-10-29 [Princess Zelda]: The knife went flying, embedding itself in the ground several feet away. "Weak or not, let the fairy go. Oh, the things I would do for a cup of tea..." A'na paced, trying to focus on everything but the bizarre activity going on inside of her head. There must be more fairies around here. They must be toying with me. She laughed bitterly. "I'm losing my mind. Get out of here. I'm getting out of this place and you're not getting in my way," she snarled at him. {I'll make it dawn soon enough. Just need Eryn and Allie to post.}
2009-10-29 [Eyes of the Reaper]: ooc: There's not much that I can logically do at this point. If/when I post it would merely be filler--a sentence or two at best.
2009-10-29 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine's eyes narrowed and she stepped forward, rubbing her hands togeather. "cousin... Please.. Sit... Your not well." she spread her hands appart and fire streamed between them. "you touch her... I'll burn you alive..." her firey red hair was blown up by the breeze, and it stuck on end, spiked. Fire flowed between and around her hands, the flames reflecting in her green eyes. The heat radiated to him-- it was so hot the grass around her feet started to wilt.
2009-10-29 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius smiled, "Another fire Nymph? Or whatever it is your called for that matter... Nevertheless, I suggest you put out that flame before you make a mistake you'll regret." The fire around his gauntlet turned into a deep purple and black, swirling around his wrist.
2009-10-29 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: She looked at his flames then smirked. "I'm called a child of the flame... Your purple fire dosnt scare me.." she flared her fire around herself and it turned a deep orange, burning even hotter then before.
2009-10-29 [Princess Zelda]: {Okie, Allie. We need a purpose for all of this. Any ideas?}
2009-10-30 [Eyes of the Reaper]: ooc: Uhhh...me? x.x Ummm...ummm...
2009-10-31 [Princess Zelda]: A'na shook her head. Daine's boasting always had the same effect, no matter the situation. "Would playing with fire in the middle of a forest really be considered wise?"
2009-10-31 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius chuckled, "Oh come now... afraid of a little bit of fire? Some fire Nymph you are." The flames around his gauntlet began to grow, swirling faster and faster. A small red flame spit out, flying next to the Fairy, "Fairy. You will follow this flame to the nearby cave. Wait there until I come for you, there is some fun to be had here yet..."
2009-10-31 [Eyes of the Reaper]: ooc: Yeeeah...I can't seem to come up with anything. I'm brain dead at the moment. I should be better next week. These next two days are going to be hell for me though.
Dmytrii blinked and did as she was told, following the flame to the cave it directed her to. She wasn't about to argue with him.
2009-10-31 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: Daine chuckled and shook her head. "a'na... If you didn't Want me to use my damn fire, then WHY start something?!" her cousin really pissed her off this time...she stared at the man infront of her. "your move..."
2009-11-01 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius glanced up momentarily, Damn... It was nearing dawn, the sun was beginning to peak past the mountaintops. If he was going to do anything, it would have to be fast. He didn't know what exactly happened when the sun hit him, all he knew is that a blackout was unpreventable. The fire extended forth, catching into the nearby trees, starting a small forest fire.
2009-11-02 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: ShE reached her hands out then called the fire off of the trees
2009-11-04 [Princess Zelda]: {Are we gypsies or witches?}
2009-11-04 [Wolfe In Chef's Clothing]: (daine is a fire being)
2009-11-04 [Princess Zelda]: {Alright, well let's get this thing going. It's kind of boring right now. }
2009-11-04 [Lyoko~Freasion]: (Sorry guys... Wed & Thurs are chaotic... I'll post Friday... I literally wont be home starting now)
2009-11-09 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius glared, eyes beginning to reflect the sunrise, "It's a shame I won't be able to kill you tonight... seems I'm out of time. Next time your not going to like meeting me..." With that Dius bolted into the deep woods, trying to find a place to hide himself before sleep overtook him...
2009-11-09 [Eyes of the Reaper]: Dmytrii sat in a small crevice, watching dawn's first light creep into the cave. She waited for Dius as he had commanded her to.
2009-11-15 [Princess Zelda]: "I don't know what the hell that was, but I'm not interested in finding out," A'na muttered. Silently urging the sun to rise faster, she increased her pace. She hadn't appreciated a sunrise until she found herself stranded in the forest. The sun was a sign of hope... though she shunned it not too long ago. Most of Anastasia's life had been spent within a velvet-lined wagon. Closing her eyes, she remembered. She could still smell the spices that her mother coated the curtains with to ward off bad spirits. She could remember the wicker basket that her mother kept the smudgesticks in, along with candles and silver. A half-hidden crystal ball sat on a shelf next to a neglected pile of tarot cards and tea-leaves. Stolen earrings, bangles and pieces of cloth filled a sheepskin bag that gently swung back and forth on a crude nail. Knives were kept in a wooden case beneath the seats for easy access if they were endangered. It was in this moment, that she realized how much paranoia and loneliness surrounded her life. For many years she had been raised that it was natural to take from others- That mortals did not truly own anything, that everything was meant to be 'shared'. "I'm-" An'a swore, rubbing her face after the adrenaline settled. She had been so lost in memories that she didn't notice the tree that had been right in front of her. Humiliated, the tips of her ears, along with her cheeks grew scarlet. {I apologize for my terrible punctuation and wording.}
2009-11-15 [Lyoko~Freasion]: Dius lept into the cave, flying past the Fairy as the sunrise poured into the darkness. A flash of yellow erupted once more, stirring up untold amounts of dust in the cave, silence creeping across the entire area.
[You did just fine hun, don't fret about it.]
